Abstract: A display device for providing an integrated remote controller function and a method thereof are provided to analyze a standard control code of a standard remoter controller received through the infrared ray communication and to extract the predetermined control code. A standard control code receiving member(310) receives a standard control code from a standard remote controller. The received control code is confirmed by a control member(320) and thereafter transmitted to a code conversion member(350). The code conversion member confirms the set device as a controlled device and converts the standard control code into an individual control code with reference to a code mapping table.
