    Abstract: A noninvasive probe for measuring bodily component and a noninvasive measuring system comprising the same are provided to obtain a plurality of Raman spectrums by instantaneously irradiating lights on a plurality of measuring points. A input light transmitting unit(140) transmits an input light emitted from one light source. A light dividing unit(125) divides the input light from the input light transmitting unit into a plurality of bodily input lights. A condensing unit(130) condenses the bodily input lights so as to irradiate a plurality of bodily input lights onto different bodily measuring points. A light filtering unit(135) filters optical component of the same wavelength band as that of the input light. An output light transmitting unit(145) transmits output lights into a spectrometer which classifies output lights as its wavelength.

    Abstract: A spectroscopy system and a method thereof are provided to carry out both low and high resolution spectroscopy by including a monochromater and a spectrometer having zoom-in and zoom-out functions. A spectroscopy system comprises an optical system, a first detector, and a second detector. The optical system receives lights scattered from a first area of a sample surface in response to receiving lights of different excitation wavelengths and scatters the lights according to their wave lengths. The first detector is mounted on a first moveable detector mount. The second detector is mounted on a second moveable detector mount. The first moveable detector mount moves the first detector to a first position related to the first excitation wavelength. The second moveable detector mount moves the second detector to a second position related to the second excitation wavelength. The first detector is set to detect a part where the light from the first area is received on the sample surface in response to receiving the first excitation wavelength light. The second detector is set to detect a part where the light from the first area is received on the sample surface in response to receiving the second excitation wavelength light.

    Abstract: Techniques are described for the detection of multiple target species in real-time PCR (polymerase chain reaction). For example, a system is described that includes a data acquisition device and a detection device coupled to the data acquisition device. The detection device includes a rotating disk having a plurality of process chambers having a plurality of species that emit fluorescent light at different wavelengths. The device further includes a plurality of optical modules. Each of the optical modules is optically configured to excite the species and capture fluorescent light emitted by the species at different wavelengths. A fiber optic bundle coupled to the plurality of optical modules conveys the fluorescent light from the multiple optical modules to a single detector.
