Abstract:
The invention relates to a multilayered material sheet comprising a consolidated stack of unidirectional monolayers of drawn polymer. The draw direction of two subsequent monolayers in the stack differs. Moreover the strength to thickness ratio of at least one monolayer is larger than 4.5.1013 N/m3. The invention also relates to a ballistic resistant article comprising the multilayered material sheet and to a process for the preparation of the ballistic resistant article.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire for reinforcing rubber articles which can improve initial adhesion performance further, and a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: A wire 1 for reinforcing rubber articles comprises a brass-plated layer 12 on a surface of a flat wire 11 which has a cross section of a track shape by a pair of flat surfaces and a convex surface connected with the ends of the flat surfaces. The brass-plated layer 12 has a fine crystal grain part 12a with a particle size of 20 nm or less on the side of the outermost layer. The fine crystal grain part 12a can be formed by a plastic processing at the time of manufacture.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inner cable for a push-pull control cable having higher load efficiency, easily manufacturable at low cost, having a small minimum radius of curvature, and having small backlash. SOLUTION: This inner cable 10 comprises a core 11 of a substantially circular shape in cross section and side wires 12 twined around the core. The side wire 12 is a twisted wire formed by twisting a wire material of a substantially oval shape in cross section in the same direction. The twisting direction of the side wire 12 is reverse to the spiral direction when the entire inner cable is twined.
