Abstract:
There is provided a mobile member position detection apparatus in which not only high-accuracy detection of a window glass or the like of a power window apparatus but also setting of an initial position being free from cumbersome adjustment can be realized with a simple structure at low cost. In a position detection apparatus, a ring gear is rotated together with a motor output shaft, and a predetermined rotational position is detected by a mobile contact and a fixed contact. In this case, since a projecting portion of a gear base is brought into contact with a contact surface of a base plate to hold the gear base, a difference between loss torque of the gear base and loss torque of the ring gear increases, and a planetary gear is not unnecessarily revolved. Thereafter, when the output shaft is rotated, holding of the carrier by a wave washer is released, and rotation of the output shaft is not transmitted to the ring gear. Therefore, when the output shaft is sufficiently rotated in an incorporating operation, an initial state can be automatically set.
Abstract:
In a position detector, a ring gear rotates with a motor output shaft and a specified rotation position is detected by a move contact and fixed contacts. When the output shaft rotates thereafter, holding a carrier by a wave washer is released and the transmission of rotation of the output shaft to the ring gear is dropped. Therefore, by rotating the output shaft sufficiently at the time of assembling, an initial state, in which a protrusion section abuts a protrusion and the move contact contacts the fixed contact, is set automatically.
Abstract:
A driving mechanism is disposed in the bottom of a door for driving the door and includes a reduction gearing and a motor fixed to the door, and a gear coupled to the reduction gearing and engaged with two shafts for rotatably supporting the wheels of the door so as to apply a downward force to the pinions in order to prevent the wheels moving upward away from the tracks. A retaining device is fixed to one of the tracks or fixed to the ground and has an opening for engaging with one of the pinions so as to maintain the door in place.
Abstract:
An electric gear motor with reduction gears and automatic brake for shutters, wherein an emergency control is provided to allow the shutter to be manually maneuvered in the event of motor brake down or loss of power. A toothed ring is normally retained in a non-rotatable position relative to the reduction gears under the influence of a yieldable leg of a spring pin. The yieldable leg is movable away from the ring to permit the ring to rotate with the reduction gears and free of a motor drive shaft in the event the motor fails to activate in a normal manner thus enabling the shutters to be manually operated.
Abstract:
An automatic operator and locking mechanism for a casement window or the like having window locking structure including a movable tie bar which is moved to both lock and unlock the window, a window hinge mounting the window for opening and closing movement, an operator arm operatively connected to the window and a rotatable lead screw connected to the operator arm for movement thereof, planetary gearing having two alternately operable output connections structurally connected one to said tie bar and one to said lead screw, a motor for driving said planetary gearing and a trigger member for sensing the open or closed position of the window and operable when the window is open to hold the tie bar against movement whereby drive of the planetary gearing causes closing movement of the window.
Abstract:
A door operating device for operating by means of a DC motor the slide door of a slide door unit including an opening formed in the exterior panel of an automobile, the door designed to be arranged flush with the exterior panel when closed, guide rails extended along the upper frame, the lower frame of the opening and the outside surface of the exterior panel, respectively, and guide rollers for guiding the door along the guide rails. A first turnable arm is supported rotatably on the floor of the automobile, a second turnable arm is supported rotatably on the free end of the first turnable arm and a driving wheel is supported rotatably on the free end of the second turnable arm. The output torque of the motor is distributed into a torque for rotating the driving wheel and a torque for rotating the first turnable arm. When the motor is actuated with the door closing the opening of the exterior panel of the body of the automobile, first the door is swayed outside of the exterior panel of the body due to the rotatory motion of the first turnable arm and then the door is driven to slide along the exterior panel of the body by the agency of the frictional engagement of the driving wheel with a guide member secured to the inside surface of the door.
