    Abstract: A multi-chamber single-use bioreactor for cell culture expansion has bag assembly and a rigid support structure defining a bag receiving space. The bag assembly disposed in the bag receiving space of the rigid support structure and supported by the rigid support structure. The bag assembly has at least a first flexible bag and a second flexible bag. The first bag defines a first reaction chamber, and the second bag defines a second reaction chamber. The first reaction chamber has a first volume, a first inlet, and a first outlet, and the second reaction chamber has a second volume different from the first volume, a second inlet, and a second outlet. The second inlet of the second bag is fluidically connected to the first outlet of the first bag so liquid in first reaction chamber can be transferred to the second reaction chamber.

    Abstract: An embodiment of the present disclosure relates to an unmanned flying robotic object that contains a wheeled mechanism that encircles its spherical exoskeleton. This feature allows the flying spherical vehicle to readily transform into a ground maneuverable vehicle. A robotic motor with differential speed capability is used to operate each wheel to provide effective ground maneuverability. There are examples provided herein of wheel configurations suitable for use with an embodiment. One is the straight- (or parallel) wheel design, and another is tilted-wheel design as are illustrated and discussed hereinafter. One embodiment of an unmanned flying robotic object taught herein is foldable.

    Abstract: Techniques in the disclosure use non-wetting or wetting surfaces to promote or hinder separation of gas from solution in a liquid. The systems and processes promote bubble nucleation and/or promote separation of a gas or gases from a liquid using non-wetting surfaces. Also, the systems and processes suppress bubble nucleation in order to create supersaturated solutions of gas or gases in a liquid by using wetting surfaces.

    Abstract: There is provided a biogas flux chamber constructed in one embodiment from a metal can with an open bottom and an epoxy interior coating. The chamber is inserted into the soil to allow influx of soil gases. The lid includes a sampling septum and a vent tube to prevent pressure build-up when the lid is in place which allows for an increase in interior gas concentrations. The rubber sampling septum is installed in a hole in the lid. The vent tube is constructed using flexible copper tubing inserted through the lid and secured using a bulkhead-fitting, and rubber O-ring to seal the insertion hole. The copper tubing is bent to form a double-curved ‘C’ shape which positions the open ends of the tube above and below the lid surfaces.
