Abstract:
PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing fermented tea using lactic acid bacteria strains is provided to manufacture the fermented tea safe from the pathogenic bacteria, and to improve flavor of the tea by fermenting green tea. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing fermented tea using lactic acid bacteria strains comprises the following steps: removing a culture medium by washing the culture medium with salty water after centrifuging; culturing the lactic acid bacteria strains in a fermentation liquid without protein powder; and fermenting the lactic acid bacteria strains on leaves. The fermentation liquid includes sugar, fructose, lactose and water. The lactic acid bacteria strains is strain separated fermented food.

A method for fermenting a natural product in salt is provided to prevent the effective components included in the natural product from being deteriorated while restraining the decay and contamination of the product caused by Escherichia coli or anaerobic bacteria. A method for fermenting a natural product in salt comprises the following steps of: adding salt to medicinal herbs or grains and ripening and fermenting at the temperature of 4-40°C for 1 month ~ 1 year; and extracting the salted medicinal herbs or grains in water or organic solvent and obtaining a fermented extract. The medicinal herbs are selected from the group consisting of citrus junos, Astragali radix, Carthami flos, Angelicae gigantis radix, Zingiberis rhizoma crudus, Platicodi radix and Ponciri fructus. The grains are selected from the group consisting of soybean, rice, barley and wheat. The salt is selected among sodium chloride, bay salt, rock salt and bamboo salt. The amount of the salt used is 10-30wt% on a gross weight basis of the fermented extract. The organic solvent is selected from the group consisting of methanol, ethanol, glycerin, ethyl acetate, butylene glycol, propylene glycol, dichloromethane and hexane.

A composition for preventing or treating dermatitis is provided to suppress the expression of cytokines such as IL-1alpha, IL-6, IL-8 and MCP-1 (monocyte chemotactic protein) and prevent the dermatitis. A composition for preventing or treating dermatitis comprises Kaempferia pandurata extract as an active ingredient. The Kaempferia pandurata extract inhibits the sebum secretion by decreasing the activation of PPAR-gamma. The Kaempferia pandurata extract is obtained using organic solvent and oil. The skin adhesive cosmetic composition is used in the form of lotion, astringent, massage cream, pack, powder, body lotion, body cream, rinse and shampoo.

A cosmetic composition is provided to be able to remove irritation caused by a chemical preservative by including an extract of Lonicera flos instead of a conventional chemical preservative and show excellent skin safety with having the preserving capacity as it is. A low-irritating skin external application composition comprises 0.001-5 wt.% of an extract of Lonicera flos, which is obtained by supercritical fluid extracting the Lonicera flos using CO2 and water as a solvent, extracting the Lonicera flos using a polar solvent such as ethanol and methanol or a mixture solvent of the polar solvent and distilled water with heating or concentrating it under reduced pressure. The composition is a basic cosmetic composition such as skin, astringent, nutritive lotion, cream, essence, pack, cleansing foam and gel, a make-up cosmetic composition such as foundation, mascara and eye-liner, a hair cosmetic composition such as shampoo, rinse, hair-cream, hair styling gel, hair arranging agent, and hair-growing agent, a medicine such as ointment or a quasi-drug such as toothpaste or mouthwash.
