Abstract: An overvoltage protection apparatus of an oven range is provided to protect an electric apparatus by stopping the control of the electric apparatus and to rapidly deal with the input of an overvoltage higher than a rated voltage. An overvoltage protection apparatus of an oven range includes a rectification circuit(210), a photodiode(206), a switch, and a control unit(208). The rectification circuit rectifies an alternating current voltage at a secondary terminal of a low voltage transformer. The photodiode is activated when a voltage rectified by the rectification circuit is not less than a voltage of a predetermined level. The switch is turned on by the activation of the photodiode. The control unit stops an electric apparatus by determining that the alternating current inputted through a low voltage transformer(202) exceeds a rated voltage when an output voltage outputted at the time when the switch is turned on is in a high level.

A steam generating apparatus comprises a heating tank(10), a first induction heating plate(30), a water storage unit(20), and an induction coil(40). The heating tank includes a tank body(11) with an open top, and a tank cover(12) for covering the tank body. The tank cover has a steam outlet pipe(16). The first induction heating plate is arranged on a bottom surface of the heating tank in such a manner that the first induction heating plate is detachable. The water storage unit is mounted on the first induction heating plate in such a manner that the water storage unit is removable. The water storage unit has an open/close mechanism(50) for supplying water to the heating tank so that the first induction heating plate is submerged into water and the level of water in the heating tank is maintained at a constant level, in case where the water storage unit is arranged in the heating tank. The induction coil is arranged outside the heating tank, and induction heats the first induction heating plate.
