Abstract: PURPOSE: A bumper for an automated guided vehicle is provided to buffer impact efficiently by detecting shock from all directions in the entire range with detecting vibration of a bumper plate. CONSTITUTION: A bumper device(1) for an automated guided vehicle is composed of a bumper supporting member(70) combined with a body of the automated guided vehicle; a bumper(80) combined with the bumper supporting member; a vibration detecting sensor detecting vibration of the bumper; and a vibration supporting unit(10) installed in the bumper supporting member to support the bumper for shaking. Impact from all directions in the all range of the bumper is detected promptly, and shock is buffered efficiently.
