PURPOSE: An emulating device for developing a home network is provided to verify whether data transmitted/received between a home server and a client computer corresponds to a CIM format and whether the data has an error. CONSTITUTION: A packet receiver(211) receives a packet including certain data by using serial communication from a home server or a client computer. A packet verifier(212) verifies whether the packet has a CIM format, and if the packet has the CIM format, the packet verifier(212) checks whether the data has an error. A data extracting unit(213) extracts data from a packet which is verified to have the CIM format, does not have an error and has not been repeatedly received. A packet transmitter(214) transmits the packet, received from the packet receiver(211), which has the CIM format and does not have an error. A display unit(215) displays the packet or the data.

PURPOSE: A PLC(Power Line Communication) system for household appliances and a method therefor are provided to reduce unnecessary transmission quantity in a PLC network by preventing that power is supplied to an external PLC modem when the power is not supplied to the household appliances. CONSTITUTION: An external PLC modem(100) has the first power supply connector(110) and the first serial port connector(120). A household appliance(200) has the second and third power supply connectors(210,230) and the second serial port connector(220). The first serial port connector(120) and the second serial port connector(220) are connected each other. The first power supply connector(110) and the second power supply connector(210) are connected each other. The third power supply connector(230) is connected with the second power supply connector(210). The third power supply connector(230) is connected with a PLC network.

PURPOSE: A speaker apparatus of a mobile phone is provided, which reduces a size of the mobile phone and provides good communication environment. CONSTITUTION: According to the speaker apparatus(20) of a mobile phone, a penetration hole(31) is formed on a main board(30) of the mobile phone. A speaker unit(35) is installed on a back of the main board and outputs a voice and sound signal through the above penetration hole. And a voice waveguide(38) connects the penetration hole with a speaker hole(41) of a front case(40) of the mobile phone.

PURPOSE: An apparatus of amplifying a low noise in a mobile communication terminal is provided to minimize a current consumption, while maintaining a linearity. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus of amplifying a low noise in a mobile communication terminal, an AGC amp control part(320) of a low noise amplifier receives a signal to noise ratio of the signal received from a modem, receives an information for a reception field strength from a part(310) for detecting a reception field strength, and outputs a control signal in case that the signal to noise ratio is not improved though the reception field strength is increased. A bias part increases a bias current according to the control signal output from the control part of a low noise amplifier. An AGC amplifier(360) for amplifying a low noise amplifies the reception signal to the signal level corresponding to the bias current generated from the bias part.

PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for controlling a transmission power of a mobile communication terminal is provided to remove phenomenon in which the transmission power is instantaneously increased or decreased according to a switching of a power amplifier. CONSTITUTION: The first power amplifier(330) outputs an RF(Radio Frequency) signal which is more a predetermined power level. The second power amplifier(380) is connected to the first power amplifier(330) in parallel, and outputs an RF signal which is less than the power level. A variable attenuator(320) is located at a front terminal of the first power amplifier(330). An RSSI(Received Signal Strength Indicator) detecting unit(360) detects the strength of a received signal. A control unit(370) determines an output power level according to the detected strength of the received signal, controls the variable attenuator(320) for adjusting a difference of power gains of two power amplifiers(330,380) as a value within a predetermined range, and selects one between the first and second amplifiers(330,380). A power supply unit(350) supplies an operation power suitable for the selected power amplifier so that the input RF signal is amplified by the selected power amplifier and the amplified RF signal is transmitted.

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for determining a paging warning mode in a mobile communication system are provided to set up a paging warning mode in a mobile communication system. CONSTITUTION: A mobile terminal judges whether a broadcasting channel message is received(610). If the broadcasting channel message is received, the mobile terminal analyzes subcell information and a beacon paging cycle contained in the broadcasting channel message(612). After temporarily storing subcell information and the beacon paging cycle, the mobile terminal judges whether the current cell contains a subcell(614). If it is judged that the subcell exists, the mobile terminal determines a paging group, which it belongs to, using its own ID and the number of paging groups(618). After determining the paging group, the mobile terminal accesses a beacon paging group frame and the determined paging group frame at the same time(620). The mobile terminal receives the beacon paging group frame through the access of the beacon paging group frame. Grasping beacon paging group information, the mobile terminal judges whether a change of a paging warning mode is required(622). If it is judged that the paging warning mode change request has been received, the mobile terminal transfers the current mode into a vibration mode(624).

PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for controlling the output power of a mobile terminal is provided to obtain a high degree of energy efficiency in a low power state by using an amplifier having a high degree of efficiency in a low power state and a power amplifier having a high degree of efficiency at the maximum power in a high power state. CONSTITUTION: A controller(301), controlling the overall operations of a terminal, supplies a gain control signal(TX_AGC_ADJ) to an AGC amplifier(302), an amplification control signal to a control circuit part(306), and a switching control signal(SW_2_3) to a switch(305), the first power amplifier(307) and the second power amplifier(308). The AGC amplifier(302) executes gain adjustment for an input signal in response to the gain control signal(TX_AGC_ADJ). A mixer(303) mixes the output of the AGC amplifier(302) and a local signal of a local oscillator for the frequency conversion of the AGC amplifier(302). A driving amplifier(304) amplifies and outputs the output of the mixer(303). The control circuit part(306) outputs a control voltage to control the first power amplifier in response to the amplification control signal. Depending on the switching control signal(SW_2_3), the switch(305) connects a radio frequency signal outputted from the driving amplifier(304) to either of the first power amplifier(307) or the second power amplifier(308). The first power amplifier(307) and the second power amplifier(308) amplify and output the power of the signal inputted through the switch(305). A circulator(309) connects the output of the first power amplifier(307) and the second power amplifier(308) to a duplexer.
