Abstract: A display panel is provided to improve transmissivity of light passing through the display panel by restraining a texture generated due to colliding fringe fields, thereby preventing non-uniformity of brightness of the display panel and preventing deterioration of brightness. A display panel(901) includes gate wiring including gate lines(121) and first maintenance electrode lines(126) in parallel with the gate line; data wiring including data lines(161) crossing the gate lines and second maintenance electrode lines(168) overlapped with the first maintenance electrode lines in parallel and separated from the data lines, wherein the data wiring is arranged on the gate wiring, being insulated; pixel electrodes(180) arranged on the data wiring, being insulated; a liquid crystal layer arranged on the pixel electrodes, including liquid crystal particles; and common electrodes arranged on the liquid crystal layer. The first maintenance electrode lines and the second maintenance electrode lines are different in width in some sections.

Abstract: A color filter substrate and a color filter forming apparatus are provided to display an image with high definition and to facilitate management of a process by forming a color filter having a color layer with uniform thickness. A color filter substrate is composed of a base substrate(100) where pixel regions are defined; light blocking film patterns(110) formed on the base substrate and provided with a plurality of aperture units(115) corresponding to the pixel regions, respectively; and a color filter filling up plural aperture units. The color filter is formed by hardening color ink(1) containing a magnetic body. The magnetic body is particles having a diameter below a green wavelength. The diameter of the magnetic body is below 530 nanometers.
