본 발명은 영상신호부호화장치의 입력영상신호를 주파수대역 제한하기 위한 프리필터 및 이를 이용한 부호화장치에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 프리필터는, 화면의 중앙직교축선방향의 영상데이타에 대한 필터링주파수대역에 비해 대각선 방향 영상데이타에 대한 필터링주파수대역이 좁은 주파수특성을 가지는 다이아고날필터특성과 올패스필터특성 사이에서 가변되는 것을 특징으로 한다. 이에 따라, 인간의 시각특성에 더욱 적합한 향상된 화질의 화상이 구현된다.

PURPOSE: A magnetic resonance imaging device and a diffusion accentuation image obtaining method thereof are provided to measure accurate diffusion rates and to reduce time for obtaining an image by obtaining a diffusion accentuation image from a radial k-space. CONSTITUTION: An image having emphasized contrast between a diffusion material and a non-diffusion material is obtained as a signal reduction degree between the materials is increased when a diffusion gradient magnetic field is applied before and after the application of a 180-degree RF pulse in a spin echo pulse sequence.

PURPOSE: An imaging apparatus for using a variable encoding aperture apparatus capable of resizing the aperture by applying a convolution technology using the coded aperture is provided to obtain an image of high quality by compensating focus information and depth information. CONSTITUTION: A variable coding filter(21) permits the pass of the light for the specific domain of a pattern. The domain of a specific pattern is designed in a coded filter structure encoded by the filtering of the incident light of a subject. The incident light is imaged in a light receiving device in a modified state. An image processor obtains focus information and depth information from a convolution image signal from the light receiving device. The image processor performs the de-blurring of the image signal.

기능 확장이 가능한 멀티미디어 기기 및 그를 이용한 기능 확장 방법이 개시되어 있다. 본 발명은 소정의 신호 규격을 갖는 복수개의 슬롯들로 구성되는 백플레인부, 백플레인부의 어느한 슬롯에 장착되어 확장 기판으로부터 입력되는 멀티미디어 신호를 소정의 신호형태로 처리하고 확장 기판을 선택하는 주기판부, 상기 백플레인의 주기판이 장착된 슬롯을 제외한 다른 슬롯들에 장착되며, 상기 주기판부로부터 선택되면 독립적인 모듈에 의해 처리된 멀티미디어 신호를 상기 주기판부로 전송하는 확장기판부를 포함한다.

An apparatus and a method of changing a bit rate of a compressed image bit stream by changing a codeword so as to easily change the bit rate and reduce a changing loss. The apparatus for changing a bit rate, in which an input bit stream generated by an image compression encoding method is changed into an output bit stream having a desired bit rate, includes a changing codeword determiner which selects codewords to replace the codewords of the input bit stream, and a codeword changer which changes the codewords of the input bit stream into the codewords selected by the changing codeword determiner. The method and the apparatus can be applied to image services provided through the Internet and receiving apparatuses supporting the Personal Video Recorder (PVR) function. Particularly, the method of changing the bit rate of a compressed image bit stream changes the codewords of input transform coefficients so as to easily change the bit rate and reduce the changing loss.

PURPOSE: An apparatus for recording and reproducing moving picture is to automatically further record a representative image to assume an entire scenario among input moving picture data stream, and then automatically research the position of the recorded representative image and reproduce the image at high speed. CONSTITUTION: A recording portion records a position of a representative image and an input moving picture data stream detected when scene change among the moving picture data stream is occurred, in a recording medium(14). In the recording portion, a key frame detecting and marking portion(10) detects the position of the key frame corresponding to the representative image when the scene change is occurred among the moving picture data stream, and then marks the detected position. A record processing portion(12) records the moving picture data stream, in which the position of the representative image is marked, in the recording medium. The key frame detecting and marking portion detects the representative image and whether the scene change is occurred, based on a coding specification of the coded moving picture data stream.
