Abstract:
PURPOSE: A short range communication system and method in a wireless communication system is provided to efficiently access a single access point in short range wireless communication and to achieve data communication without a special overhead. CONSTITUTION: A main wireless terminal broadcasts a beacon header(401) in order to inform other peripheral wireless terminals of the start of a beacon cycle(400) before the initial data of a schedule map are transmitted. The beacon cycle(400) comprises connection request slots(402) to receive data communication requests from other peripheral wireless terminals after broadcasting the beacon header(401). Each wireless terminal transmits a frame according to the order of the schedule map after the connection request slots(402).
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A method for retransmitting reliable multicast data by grouping wireless terminals through wireless communication and a device therefor are provided to group wireless terminals in order to compensate for packet loss generated when transmitting multicast data under wireless communication environment, and to retransmit the data in grouped terminal units, thereby supplying reliable retransmission mechanism. CONSTITUTION: An AP(Access Point) groups wireless terminals based on signal strength information from the wireless terminals and a distance to the wireless terminals(410). The AP selects repeaters one by one, which retransmit multicast packets by group(420). The AP sets an order of performing a retransmission process between the selected repeaters(430). The AP makes an MTU(Multicast packet Train Header)(440). The AP transmits the MTU, and carries out the retransmission process according to the set order(450). The MTU consists of multicast train ID information, information on the number of groups, information on the number of multicast packets, and FEC(Forward Error Correction) information.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A method for dynamically managing a packet segment threshold value reflecting radio channel characteristics is provided to reduce a packet transmission error by continuously monitoring a state of a radio channel and dynamically changing a segment threshold value according to a change in a temporal and spatial channel state. CONSTITUTION: It is determined whether a packet has been transmitted(310). If a packet has been transmitted, it is determined whether an ACK message has been received(320). Response message reception signal strength information is received(330). If the ACK message has been received, a segment threshold value controller monitors a reception signal of every packet and determines a signal strength level(340). If the ACK message has been successfully received, a segment threshold value is increased according to the signal strength level(350). If the ACK message has not been received, it is determined that a packet has been lost and the segment threshold value is reduced to a certain minimum value(340). If a packet is not transmitted but received, a signal strength level is determined(360).

이중수신구조를이용하여신호를수신하는장치및 방법이제공된다. 일실시예에따르면, 미리정한대역에인접한인접대역과연관된간섭정보(interference information)에기초하여제1 수신부및 제2 수신부중 하나를선택하고, 수신제어부의선택에응답하여제1 Q값을갖도록설계된제1 수신부및 제2 Q값을갖도록설계된제2 수신부중 하나를통해미리정한대역의신호를수신할수 있다. 이때, 제2 Q값은제1 Q값보다클 수있다.
