    Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for retransmitting reliable multicast data by grouping wireless terminals through wireless communication and a device therefor are provided to group wireless terminals in order to compensate for packet loss generated when transmitting multicast data under wireless communication environment, and to retransmit the data in grouped terminal units, thereby supplying reliable retransmission mechanism. The MTU consists of multicast train ID information, information on the number of groups, information on the number of multicast packets, and FEC(Forward Error Correction) information.
