    Abstract: The present invention relates to a fuzzy inference-type automatic sailing method of a yacht and, more specifically, to a fuzzy inference-type automatic sailing method of a yacht enabling even an ordinary person rather than a yacht expert to smoothly and easily drive a yacht to enjoy water leisure, by automatically controlling directions of a sail or rotation angles of a rudder using an artificial intelligence obtained by a fuzzy inference. According to the present invention, the fuzzy inference derived from a direction of wind blowing toward a yacht, a progressing direction of a yacht hull, and a rotation angle of a rudder installed beneath the yacht hull, can be used to calculate a target category area and a target attack angle. In accordance with the calculated results, an operation of an electric winch for winding and unwinding a rope connected to the sail can be controlled, thus enabling an automatic control of the yacht.
