Abstract:
The present invention relates to a terahertz wave polarizer which polarizes a terahertz wave, in particular, relates to a terahertz wave polarizer using extraordinary optical transmission (EOT). The terahertz wave polarizer using EOT according to the present invention includes: a polymer substrate; and a plurality of line shaped metal patterns which are buried in the polymer substrate and are repeated with a constant distance which is smaller than a wavelength of the wave. The terahertz wave polarizer using EOT according to the present invention improves the transmittance, extinction ratio and polarization ratio. Also, the polarizer is flexible since the polarizer uses a transparent and flexible polymer substrate. A terahertz wave polarizer using EOT according to the present invention can be applied to an optical component for controlling polarization direction control of a terahertz wave and a high-performance terahertz wave spectrometer.

본 발명에 따른 능동형 메타표면은 평면상에 반복 배열된 복수의 단위 셀이 형성된 금속층; 및 상기 금속층에 접하여 배치되는 그래핀 필름;을 포함하며, 상기 단위 셀의 회전각도에 따라서 입사파에 대한 상기 능동형 메타표면을 통과하는 투과파의 위상변이가 결정되고, 상기 그래핀 필름에 인가되는 전기신호를 통해 상기 투과파의 크기가 조절 가능할 수 있다.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A high refraction index meta-material is provided to be applied to various fields by easily covering three-dimensional material. CONSTITUTION: A high refraction index meta-material comprises a pair of dielectric substrates(1, 3) and a conductive layer. The conductive layer is comprised of a plurality of unit gratings(2). The conductive layer is formed on the pair of dielectric substrates. The plurality of unit gratings forms a uniform gap. A refractive index of the high refraction index meta-material is greater than or equal to 35 in a predetermined frequency section. The refractive index of the high refraction index meta-material is 10times higher than the refractive index of the pair of dielectric substrates in the predetermined frequency section.
