Abstract:
PURPOSE: A smart phone based protocol compatibility providing method of smart devices and a smart phone based gateway system thereof are provided to supply protocol compatibility of the smart devices based on a smart phone. CONSTITUTION: A first smart phone(100) is connected to one or more first smart objects using a first service protocol through a first network. A second smart phone(200) is connected to one or more second smart objects using the first protocol and a second service protocol through a second network. The first smart phone and the second smart phone generate agent instance and proxy instance, respectively. The first smart phone and the second smart phone are operated as a gateway so that the first smart object and the second smart object are operated each other.

PURPOSE: A link quality based routing method in a multi-radio mobile ad-hoc network is provided to change a link with interference into a high quality link using SINR(Signal-to-Interference plus Noise Ratio). CONSTITUTION: A route for transmitting data is searched(S201). Link quality of each node is measured within the searched route(S203). A link deterioration is searched based on the measured link quality(S205). The node which searches the link deterioration selects an alternative link. The route is established into a changeable al link(S207).
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A temporal context information modeling and a management scheme using an extended ontology model for context-aware systems are provided to store and temporally-change context information continuously based on past context information. CONSTITUTION: A context information query processor(120) searches a database based on a query request received from the outside and outputs query result data. When a certain change happens in the database, a context information event processor(150) generates a context information event. A context information rule/inference processor(130) provides a rule processing function based on the preset rule information when the context information event occurs.

PURPOSE: A blog search apparatus and a method using a blog authority value estimation technique are provided to reduce temporal overhead necessary in a search of an important document by searching a neighbor blog of a high authority value preferentially. CONSTITUTION: A blog search apparatus includes an authority value estimator(110), a priority calculator(120) and blog search unit(130). The authority value estimator estimates an authority value through local information of a searched target blog. The priority calculator calculates priority according to existence of a document corresponding to the authority value and a query. The blog search unit searches the blog of a search object sequentially according to the priority.

PURPOSE: A vector modelling for user task support for improving a task performance, a task predicting system and a method based on a behavior pattern in ubiquitous computing environment are provided to prepare performance of a task possessively in advance by predicting a suitable next task from a task ontology based on meaning through a task prediction model. CONSTITUTION: A human behavior research unit(11) acquires behavior data. A task ontology storage(13) stores a task ontology. A user behavior pattern extractor extracts behavior patterns of users. A domain professional unit stores analysis result of behavior patterns in a user behavior pattern storage(16). A context information manager(17) collects context information about actions. A task broker(18) matches the contents and the task ontology of the user behavior pattern storage.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A reactive local positioning system for an ad hoc and a method thereof are provided to detect a location of a terminal without an infrastructure of a base station by using a relative location calculation algorithm. CONSTITUTION: If a position request message is received, a middle node terminal(A) calculates a local coordinate system. The middle node terminal checks over whether or not a target terminal(T) is placed within a certain distance range. If so, the middle node terminal transmits the position information of the target terminal to a start node terminal(S) as a response message. Otherwise, the middle node terminal broadcasts the position request message to the certain terminal.

A multi-hop multi-radio mobile ad hoc network node, a system thereof, and a network formation method therefor are provided to selectively inactive an activated radio interface during preset update time after activating the radio interface, thereby minimizing energy consumption. An application request checking unit(110) determines a request of application. A message manager(130) produces an interface update setup request message including application request information at every hour. If a request response message corresponding to the interface update setup request message is received, a network setup unit(150) activates a radio interface for data. A network transmitter(160) transmits the interface setup request message and the interface update setup request message. The network transmitter transmits data through the radio interface for data.
