Abstract: PURPOSE: A position information management system of numerous moving objects is provided to manage a position store room by dividing it in a store unit having a specific store period to perform management and search of the large capacity position information effectively. CONSTITUTION: A position acquisition sub system(100) acquires the present position of a moving object by a specific position acquisition strategy. A position store sub system(200) temporarily stores the position information reported from the position acquisition sub system in a memory buffer(210) where a memory slot is allocated per each moving object, and divides the memory slot in a store unit having a specific store period and then stores it in the position room permanently when all of the position information of a corresponding moving object is stored. A position inquiry sub system(300) searches position information of the moving object stored in the position store sub system by performing a position inquiry as to the position information of a specific moving object.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A system and a method for extracting street facilities information by using a vehicle are provided to obtain image information and position information of the street facilities by using the vehicle having a CCD(Charge Coupled Device) camera or a GPS/IMU(Global Positioning System/Inertial Measurement Unit). CONSTITUTION: A system for extracting street facilities information includes a CCD camera portion(10), a GPS reception portion(20), an IMU portion(30), a data synthesis processing portion, a synchronization portion, and a display portion(70). The CCD camera portion is installed at a vehicle in order to obtain image information of the street facilities. The GPS reception portion receives lens center coordinate information of the CCD camera from a GPS and outputs a 1PPS signal. The IMU portion is synchronized with a GPS reception portion according to the 1PPS signal in order to decide the stance of the CCD camera. The data synthesis processing portion synchronizes the lens center coordinate information with a photographing time point of the image information according to a synchronous signal and synthesizes the lens center coordinate information with the photographed image information according to the stance of the camera. The synchronization portion provides the synchronous signal. The display portion displays the position information of the street facilities.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A device for managing space-attribute data by using a space index, is provided to enable an integrated management of space data and attribute data, needed when constructing an internet of a desk top geographical information system, and enable to quickly search a space, in a relational database system of various business or non-business operated under various operation systems. CONSTITUTION: A device for managing space-attribute data by using a space index in a relational database system(60), comprises a space-attribute data integrated manager(10), an attribute table manager(20), a space index manager(30), and a space table manager(40). The space-attribute data integrated manager(10) classifies a space data research and an attribute data research by analyzing a demand of a application system, when the application system demand a search and reading of data through an internet. The attribute table manager(20) searches an attribute data stored in the relational database when the classification of the space-attribute data integrated manager is an attribute data search, and then transmits the search result to the space-attribute data integrated manager. The space index manager(30) divides if a space index operation or a space data search operation when the classification of the space-attribute data integrated manager is a space data search, and then extracts space index information in a file system in case of a space index operation and transmits a message in case of a space data search operation. And the space table manager(40) checks if the space data are a chain type by space index information extracted by the space index manager(30) and a message transmitted form the space index manager(30), and then transmits to the space index manager(30) by extracting a chain table and a dot table, or only a chain table according to the checked result.
