PURPOSE: A dynamic MBS range setting method for supplying a mobile IPTV service is provided to prevent unnecessary multicast and broadcast traffic from being transmitted to a plurality of base stations for reducing handover delay. CONSTITUTION: A base station sets up an MBS(Multicast and Broadcast Service) area(600). The base station configures a cell where a mobile terminal is located. BSs(Base Stations) allocates an MBS channel according to movement of the mobile terminal. An adjacent BS sets up the MBS area(610). The MBS channel of the adjacent BS is allocated according to a determined priority by using a probabilistic movement trend.
