Abstract:
PURPOSE: A user equipment and advertisement service server for providing a bi-directional personalized advertisement is provided to solve the dependency on a certain media service by selecting personalized advertisement contents based on advertisement meta information and user setup information. CONSTITUTION: A communication unit(110) receives user setup information and advertisement meta information from an advertisement service server. A storage unit(120) stores the user setup information and the advertisement meta information, and a control unit(130) includes an advertisement selection unit(131). When an advertising event happens, the advertisement selection unit selects advertisement contents corresponding to the user set information by searching the advertisement meta information. A display unit(140) displays the selected advertisement contents.

방송참여 단말장치, 방송 참여를 지원하는 유무선 연동 서버, 및 방송 참여 서비스를 제공하는 방법이 개시된다. 유무선 연동 서버는, 복수의 단말장치 중에서 적어도 어느 하나의 방송참여 단말장치에서의 참여 요청 발생에 따라, 상기 방송참여 단말장치에 제공되는 방송에 관한 시청채널정보를 획득하는 정보 획득부, 및 상기 획득한 시청채널정보에 대응된 참여주소정보를 식별하여 상기 방송참여 단말장치에 전송 함으로써, 상기 방송참여 단말장치에서 상기 참여주소정보를 이용하여 방송참여와 연관되는 참여제어 서버에 접속하도록 하는 정보 처리부를 포함하여 구성한다.

PURPOSE: A network environment based node management apparatus is provided to rapidly search neighbor node information by enabling a DTN(Delay or distribution Tolerant Network) management apparatus to manage the information of DTN nodes and to transmit the connection information of the neighbor DTN nodes to the DTN node. CONSTITUTION: A communication unit(200) receives node information from a mobile node through a communication network which is different from a network without continuous connectivity. The control unit transmits connection information for a neighbor node created in a control unit to the mobile node through the communication network. The control unit creates the connection information for a neighbor node which is able to communicate with the mobile node based on the received node information.

PURPOSE: A device for obtaining channel information using broadcast data and a method thereof are provided to minimize additional connections with an existing broadcast system, thereby obtaining broadcast channel information. CONSTITUTION: An audio/video receiving unit extracts audio or video data from collected broadcast data. A sampling unit samples the extracted audio/video data. A preprocessing unit encodes the sampled data. A channel determining unit(160) compares audio or video sampling data for N broadcast channels from a channel identifying server with the encoded audio or video data. The channel determining unit obtains a channel identifier according to the comparison result.

PURPOSE: A participation type broadcasting system and a method for handling an audio for the same are provided to solve the delay of a participant voice. CONSTITUTION: A participation type broadcasting system comprises a subscriber management server for checking the participating device is same with the watching device, a participation control server(200) for setting an image session with one of the participation device or the watching device, and a media mixer(300) for transmitting the image session to the participant.

PURPOSE: A method for measuring a network available bandwidth in high speed and a device for measuring transmission delay tendency are provided to make measurement traffic not interfere an original media by using a duplicated packet of the original media as a measuring traffic. CONSTITUTION: A transmitting party transmits a media to a receiving party(510). The receiving party collects time interval between the packets of the transmitted media(520). The receiving party inspects one-way delay related to the packet based on the collected time interval(530). The receiving party reports the inspected one-way delay to the transmitting party(540). The transmitting party controls a bit rate of the media based on the reported one-way delay(550).

A method and a system for remote control of an IPTV terminal are provided to remotely control the IPTV terminal by using one a control server and mounting a control module of a terminal without changing configuration of hardware and software of the IPTV terminal, thereby facilitating the remote control about a state and a service of the IPTV terminal. A plurality of IPTV(Internet Protocol Television) terminals(400) has a control module processing a remotely transmitted control message. And the IPTV terminals change a state and a service according to the control message through the control module. A control server(300) remotely controls the state and service of the IPTV terminal by generating the control message. A database(200) stores each IPTV terminal information.
