Abstract: PURPOSE: A contents searching apparatus and method are provided to extract audio features robust to various distortion with a simple computation such as filtering. CONSTITUTION: A content searching unit extracts an audio signal from video contents or audio contents(S410). The content searching unit extracts features from an audio signal extracted through filtering(S420). The content searching unit refers to contents including the extracted feature from a database(S430). Using the audio feature robust to distortion, the content searching unit improves the accuracy of content searching.

Abstract: 본 발명은 초음파를 발신하는 복수 개의 초음파 위성을 설치하여 이동체의 위치를 인식하기 위한 초음파를 이용한 위치인식방법 및 위치인식시스템을 제공한다. 본 발명은 초음파를 발신하는 복수 개의 초음파 위성을 설치하여 이동체의 위치를 인식하기 위한 초음파를 이용한 위치인식방법으로서, 복수 개의 초음파 위성에 동기신호를 발생하는 단계와, 각 초음파 위성이 동시에 상이한 주파수의 초음파를 발신하는 단계와, 초음파를 수신한 이동체 수신기가 초음파의 주파수 대역별로 이동체 자신과 각 초음파 위성과의 거리를 계산하는 단계와, 계산된 거리에 기초하여 이동체의 현재 위치를 산출하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 초음파를 이용한 위치인식방법을 제공한다. 본 발명에 따른 초음파를 이용한 위치인식시스템은 초음파를 발신하는 초음파 위성, 이 초음파 위성에서 발신되는 초음파를 수신하여 현재의 위치를 인식하는 이동체, 초음파 위성과 이동체에 동기신호를 제공하기 위한 기준시각 방송기 및 이동체에 초음파 위성의 좌표를 제공하기 위한 서버를 구비하여 이루어진다.

Abstract: An on-site experience guiding system and a method thereof are provided to offer an environment where a user can directly visit his/her destination in travel or pavilion and see/touch/feel objects. A location sensor(21) traces the location of a user. An inertia sensor(23) traces the acceleration and posture of the user. A camera unit(25) photographs exhibits of a specific area. A communication module(27) transmits information about the user location, acceleration and posture to a portable information terminal. A wireless communication unit(33) performs the communication with an on-site experience server to receive information about the specific area.

Abstract: A mobile terminal having hot keys for contents operation and an interaction method thereof are provided to operate contents exhibited in an exhibition hall variously on virtual reality or mixed reality, thereby enabling a user to operate the contents more conveniently and instinctively during movement. A mobile terminal(100) having hot keys for contents operation comprises a camera(110), an RF(Radio Frequency) processor(120), a keypad(130), a control unit(170), a storage unit(150), a display unit(160), and a hot key pad(140). The camera photographs contents. The hot key pad operates the contents photographed by the camera. The display unit displays the contents photographed by the camera. Abstract: An apparatus and a method for inputting characters by using motion of a head are provided to enable a severely handicapped to input characters easily and to exchange information with others via a terminal like a portable phone or a computer by moving the head left, right, up and down. A method for inputting characters comprises the following several steps. A program or an apparatus starts operation(S100). A user moves the head in a set direction(S101), selects a specific number group where a character to be inputted on a screen keyboard is included(S102), moves the head in a set direction(S103) and selects a wanted number key within the selected specific number group(S104). If the user selects one number key, the user moves the head in a set direction for selecting one among characters assigned to the selected number key wherein the maximum number of the characters can be three(S105,S106). If finishing inputting the final characters(S107), the program or the apparatus is restored to an initial state.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A system for preventing/remedying a dementia based on a virtual reality using the Internet is provided to enable a dementia patient to receive a medical treatment by making the dementia patient receive a medical examination in a remote place and perform a dementia treating scenario on a virtual reality on the Internet. CONSTITUTION: If a patient connects to a web server, a dementia web page is supplied on a web browser of the patient(S211). Abstract: PURPOSE: A device of inserting an audio watermark is provided to perform a WT(Wavelet Transform) while inserting a watermark, and to detect the watermark without original audio data, thereby inserting the watermark in real time and improving security. CONSTITUTION: A watermark generator(10) generates a watermark signal, and band-spreads the watermark signal by using a PN(Pseudo Noise) signal. A WT unit(30) wavelet-transforms an original audio signal to separate the signal into a low frequency band and a high frequency band, and calculates entropy by WT. A modulator(20) modulates the band-spread watermark signal by using a predetermined frequency, and controls a gain of the modulated watermark signal by using the entropy. An IWT(Inverse Wavelet Transform) unit(40) inserts the gain-controlled watermark signal into the low frequency band, and performs an IWT process for the watermark signal of the low frequency band and an audio signal of the high frequency band, then outputs an audio signal inserted with an watermark.
