    Abstract: PURPOSE: A reinforcing structure of an upper corner portion in a tailgate is provided to improve the passenger¡~s riding comfort and the operator¡~s welding efficiency and to isolate the inflow of noise from a gap between a side outer panel and an inner quarter panel to the indoor of a vehicle by increasing the torsion strength. CONSTITUTION: An extended portion of a roof rail(20) and a shear portion of a reinforcing quarter panel are welded in a joint portion of a shear portion of a roof panel(10) and a shear portion of a side outer panel(40). A shear portion of an inner quarter panel(50) is welded in a folded portion of the roof panel. A tool insertion hole(52) is formed in the inner quarter panel to weld by inserting a welding gun at an assembling process of a chassis.

CONSTITUTION: A wheel housing(22) is fastened between a rear floor panel(20) and a quarter panel(21), and a shock absorber cover(23) is fixed between the wheel housing and the quarter panel. A shock absorber(10) is mounted in the shock absorber cover. Load transmitted through the shock absorber is distributed and transmitted to the quarter panel during traveling by mounting the shock absorber in the shock absorber cover between the wheel housing and the quarter panel. The durability is increased, and driving experience is improved by reducing noise.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A rear torsion preventing structure is provided to minimize deformation of a rear wheel housing when applied with load and prevent connecting part between a quarter panel and a flower from being destroyed. CONSTITUTION: A reinforcement(1) installed to be fixed between the upper end of a rear wheel housing(52) and a quarter panel(51) is composed to hinder deformation of the rear wheel housing by maintaining the position thereof at a right angle to the deformation direction 'P' of the rear wheel housing. In the rear torsion preventing structure with the reinforcement, the rear wheel housing and the quarter panel are simultaneously deformed so as to actually hinder deformation of the rear wheel housing.
