    Abstract: A fuel injection amount control method of an LPI engine is provided to prevent non-uniformity of torque between cylinders of a fuel supply side bank and cylinders of a fuel return side bank. A fuel injection amount control method of an LPI engine comprises a first step of, when a driven engine is off after the engine room reaches a high temperature, determining whether the engine is restarted within the predetermined time(S120); a second step of, the engine restart is within the predetermined time, determining whether the temperature of the engine and the engine room is high temperature at which the fuel is not liquefied well(S130); a third step of, when the engine restart is within the predetermined time and the temperature of the engine and the engine room is high temperature, calculating each cylinder position fuel injection amount according to position by multiplying a reference fuel injection amount by the position weighted value of each cylinder(S140); and a fourth step of spraying the calculated amount of fuel to each cylinder(S150).

    Abstract: A fuel quantity correction system of an LPI(Liquefied Petroleum Gas Injection) vehicle and a method thereof are provided to improve fuel efficiency by performing fuel injection which follows a target mixing ratio regardless of vehicle operating condition. A fuel quantity correction system of an LPI vehicle comprises a bombe(100), an injector(300), a temperature sensor(202), a pressure sensor(203), a combustion chamber pressure sensor(501), and a controller(600). The bombe contains fuel in a liquid state, and includes a pump(105) for pressing the fuel. The injector is arranged to inject the determined amount of fuel to a combustion chamber(500). The temperature sensor is mounted at a predetermined position of a fuel supply line(200) for interconnecting the bombe and the injector, and detects the temperature of the fuel supplied to the injector. The pressure sensor is mounted at a predetermined position of the fuel supply line for interconnecting the bombe and the injector, and detects the pressure of the fuel supplied to the injector. The combustion chamber pressure sensor detects the pressure in the combustion chamber. The controller calculates the basic fuel amount on the basis of the temperature and pressure of the fuel supplied to the injector, coolant temperature, and the pressure of the combustion chamber, and determines the final fuel injection amount by applying a density correction factor value in accordance with the temperature and composition ratio of the fuel.
