Abstract: PURPOSE: A brake system of a squeal noise-reduced vehicle is provided to cut off resonance and to prevent occurrence of a squeal noise by suppressing web-deformation of a shoe depending on the vehicle condition. CONSTITUTION: A brake system of a squeal noise-reduced vehicle has a control unit installed to a brake shoe(7) of a brake mechanism. The brake mechanism works by receiving brake oil pressurized from a master cylinder interlocking through a booster according to operation of a brake pedal, to stop wheels of the vehicle. The control unit increases the proper oscillation range by receiving power supply according to the vehicle condition and by changing the stiffness of the brake shoe. The control unit comprises a variable member(10) inserted in the space of a web(7a) protruded to the middle part of a pressurization flange(7b) of the brake shoe; a controller(11) controlling power supply of a battery to the variable member; and a measuring apparatus(12) offering a criterion to the controller.
