Abstract: A variable oil pump for controlling the amount of oil for a vehicle is provided to prevent power performance and a fuel consumption ratio from being reduced by resistant friction of an engine during a high speed mode of the engine. A variable oil pump for controlling the amount of oil for a vehicle comprises a rotary member(10) coupled with a rotating shaft(15), and an oil pump body(20). The oil pump body is coupled with the rotating shaft and has a receiving section formed with a groove at the inner side thereof. An outer rotor(30) is installed in the receiving section, and has a gear section on the inner periphery thereof and a plurality of oil discharge holes(33) in the circumferential direction thereof. An inner rotor(40) is installed in the outer rotor while rotating together with the rotating shaft, and has a gear section at the outer periphery thereof, which corresponds to the gear section of the outer rotor. A stopper(45) is coupled with the outer periphery of the outer rotor.
