Abstract: A flip-up glass installation structure is provided to lower the height of a mounting unit of a tail gate in which a flip-up glass is installed, thereby enabling an operator to easily load freight in a vehicle. A flip-up glass installation structure comprises: a mounting unit which is closer to the ground while the height of a latch mounted in a tail gate is maintained; a flip-up glass(51) to cover the mounting unit; and a garnish(2) inserted into the flip-up glass in order for the mounting unit not to be seen from the outside. The garnish is inserted into the flip-up glass long-formed at the bottom of a door striker. A bracket and a bonding material are located between the garnish and the flip-up glass.

Abstract: An opening and closing mechanism of an automotive flip-up glass is provided to open the flip-up glass while the convex shape of the leaf spring is transformed into the concave shape. An opening and closing mechanism of an automotive flip-up glass comprises a leaf spring(50) which is attached to the upper side of a glass hinge base(21). When a hinge arm(22) is opened around a hinge(22a), a convex upper side of the leaf spring is transformed into the concave shape. The leaf spring includes lateral flanges which are formed so that it is mounted on the glass hinge base; a vertical unit which protrudes vertically in the inner side of both lateral flanges; and a convex portion connecting two vertical units. The convex part is elliptical. The upper end of the hinge arm contacts with the convex part so that a flip-up glass(30) is opened when the hinge arm rotates around the hinge.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an over slam bumper for vehicles which maintains a gap between a tail gate and a vehicle body. The over slam bumper for vehicles comprises a body case connected to a tail gate panel; a moving unit inserted into the body case; a rod assembly which is detachably connected to the body case using elastic force; a rod cylinder which supports the rod assembly in a compressed condition to maintain the elastic force; and a bottom cover which is connected to the lower part of the rod cylinder to support the bottom part of the rod assembly inserted into the rod cylinder. The moving unit moves in the body case as the rod assembly is separated from the body case as being pressed by external force.
