Abstract: PURPOSE: An oil level gauge is provided to allow the oil level gauge to be utilized regardless of the type of the vehicle by permitting the oil level gauge to have a variable length. CONSTITUTION: An oil level gauge comprises a handle portion(10); a variable length main body(16) coupled to the handle portion; a contact portion(14) coupled to the variable length main body, wherein the contact portion has a surface adhered with an oil; and a length setting unit for fixing the variable length main body at the set length. The variable length main body includes an inner member(16a) to which the front end of the handle portion is coupled, and an outer member(16b) coupled to the outer surface of the inner member. The length setting unit includes a plate spring disposed in the portion adjacent to the caulking portion of the inner member of the variable length main body, a wire having an end connected to the plate spring, and a ring(22) connected to the other end of the wire and disposed in the handle portion.
