    Abstract: A battery mounting structure of a hybrid vehicle is provided to ensure a space to be utilized as a trunk and a space for absorbing collision energy in the case of vehicle collision. A battery mounting structure of a hybrid vehicle includes a cylindrical shaft member(3), an erecting unit, and a laying unit. The shaft member is arranged beneath a battery package(1) and formed integrally with a rear corner of a vehicle to serve as a rotary shaft of the battery package relatively to a vehicle body. The shaft member has an inside for passage of cables of the battery package. The erecting unit switches the battery package between a rotatable state and an irrotatable state relatively to the vehicle body, at the state where the battery package is set upwardly. The lading unit switches the battery package between a rotatable state and an unrotatable state relatively to the vehicle body, at the state where the battery package is arranged on a rear floor.

    Abstract: A sensor for measuring a contact pressure of a power transmission part of a vehicle is provided to measure the contact pressure by using a length variation and a resistance variation of an electric conductor installed in a sensor when the sensor body is compressed. A sensor for measuring a contact pressure of a power transmission part of a vehicle includes a body(10) and a measuring line(20). The body in a shape of a cylinder is made of elastomer such as a rubber, and has a hole penetrating through a wall of the body. The measuring line has an alphabet U shape and is fixed in the hole of the body. Both ends of the measuring line are formed parallel with in a direction of the wall of the body. The both ends of the measuring line are connected with a bridge circuit in an outside as a resistance. Because the body is made of elastic substances, in case that a pressure does not apply to the body, a section of the body is a circle, whereas in case that the pressure applies to the body by operating the power transmission, the section of the body is an oval.
