    Abstract: A cylinder head cover structure is provided to prevent a blow-by gas reduction apparatus from freezing, by preventing a blow-by gas flow chamber arranged in a cylinder head cover from directly contacted with outdoor air and preventing heat exchange between blow-by gas flowing through a blow-by gas flow chamber and outdoor air existing outside the blow-by gas flow chamber. A cylinder head cover(11) has a blow-by gas flow chamber(12) and an outdoor air inlet chamber(13). A heat insulation air chamber(15) for heat insulation of the blow-by gas flow chamber is formed in front of the blow-by gas flow chamber. The chambers include protrusions(11a) formed on the cylinder head cover, and baffle plates(11b) formed at the bottoms of the protrusions. The heat insulation air chamber and the blow-by gas flow chamber are separated from each other by a separation wall(14).

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A connection structure of a timing chain is provided to shorten repairing time by removing a process for dismantling a front cover of an engine in repairing and replacing a cam shaft and a valve train. CONSTITUTION: In a timing chain(30) of an engine, inside and outside links(31,32) are coupled to each other by a fixing pin(33) to connect a crankshaft sprocket and a cam shaft sprocket to transmit power of the crank shaft to a cam shaft. A pin hole(35) is formed in the middle of a connection fixing pin(34) for shaft-supporting shaft holes of the inside and outside links. A split pin(40) is inserted into the pin hole to prevent separation. The split pin is folded in two. A circular knob unit(41) is disposed at one end of a folded portion. An insertion unit(42) is formed in a straight line at one end of the other separated portion. The insertion unit is fitted into the pin hole, then bent to both sides, and not taken out of the pin hole.

    Abstract: A variable tappet is provided to lower the production cost by implementing the general valve lift mode and CDA mode in a simple configuration. A variable tappet comprises an outer housing(100), an inner housing(200) placed inside the outer housing, a plunger(300) which is connected to a valve(600) and moves up and down in the inner housing, a lost motion spring(250) providing the restoring force for the plunger, a connector(400) which selectively joins the inner housing and the plunger, and an oil pressure supply part(500) operating the connector. The oil pressure supply part includes a first supply hole(510), an inner flow path(520) provided with oil pressure from the first supply hole, and a second supply hole(530) supply oil pressure to the connector. The connector includes a control pin(410) provided with oil pressure from the second supply hole, a locking pin(420) inserted into the plunger by the control pin, and a locking pin elastic member(430) providing restoring force for the locking pin. The inner housing has a groove(210) to make the oil pressure supply form the second supply hole smooth.

CONSTITUTION: A reflecting plate(30) is formed in one partition(3) of a chamber(2) by inclining at a certain angle to reflect reflecting waves of noise for preventing the overlapping with noise waves. The reflecting plate is inclined toward both sidewalls from the center of the partition. Thereby, the entire noise level is reduced by preventing the overlapping between the flowing noise inside the chamber and the reflecting waves of the noise. Moreover, the strength of a cylinder head cover is reinforced by functioning the reflecting plate as a reinforcing rib.
