Abstract: PURPOSE: A plastic fuel tube for a vehicle is provided to omit a pressing process of steel and plastic by substituting the entire line of a fuel line with a plastic tube and to reduce the number of parts by integrating a former steel zone and a plastic zone with a plastic zone. CONSTITUTION: A plastic fuel tube of all plastic type has multilayer structure consisting of an inner layer(10), an outer layer(30) and an intermediate layer(20) therebetween. The inner layer is directly contacted with fuel, having the danger of explosion caused by static electricity. The inner layer is made by PA6(Poly Amide) having conductivity. The intermediate layer is a bonding material of PA6 and PK(Poly Ketone). The outer layer is used with PK having excellent chemical resistance, intensity, and particularly fuel impermeability. A fuel line is formed through the multilayer co-extrusion by the different material of each layer. The plastic fuel tube improves fuel impermeability. The plastic fuel tube has no connecting part of the fuel line. Therefore, the plastic fuel tube reduces fuel permeation and promotes fuel impermeability over the entire fuel line.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A plastic fuel tank containing low fuel permeability and a producing method therefor are provided to improve fuel permeability isolation effect and recycle and to reduce a producing cost. CONSTITUTION: A wall body(20) of a fuel tank(1) is formed by a HDPE(High Density Polyethylene). Moreover, the wall body lays a metal layer(5) on an inside as a barrier layer isolating fuel permeability by inserting an adhesive layer(4). The metal layer is a mixture of metal oxide and plastic by being composed of Al2O3 of 50-70 wet% and nylon of 30-50 wet%. The mixture of metal dioxide and the nylon forms the barrier layer preventing fuel permeability of the plastic fuel tank to improve molding ability. Thereby, the wall body of the fuel tank reduces material cost and recycling prevents corrosion of the fuel tank.
