Abstract: An electronic device includes a camera. While in a first media acquisition mode for the camera the device displays a live preview on the display. While displaying the live preview, the device detects activation of a shutter button. In response to detecting activation of the shutter button, the device groups a plurality of images acquired by the camera in temporal proximity to the activation of the shutter button into a sequence of images. The sequence of images includes: a plurality of images acquired by the camera prior to detecting activation of the shutter button; a representative image that represents the first sequence of images and was acquired by the camera after one or more of the other images in the first sequence of images; and a plurality of images acquired by the camera after acquiring the representative image. The application further deals with different ways of navigating in the sequence of image, e.g via dragging or pressure detection of touch input.

In response to detecting a movement of a user contact from a first position to a second position: the display of a first application icon at a first location is translated to a second position; a second configuration of the application icons is determined based on the first location and the second location; and the display of the application icons is transitioned from the first configuration to the second configuration. In the second configuration, no application icon except the first application icon is displaced by more than one location relative to the first configuration.
