Abstract:
An electronic device presents a first portion of structured content on a display. The structured content includes a plurality of sections and the first portion includes content from a first section of the plurality of sections. The device detects a contact on the touch-sensitive surface, detects an increase in a characteristic intensity of the contact, and detects a movement of the contact. In response to detecting the increase in the characteristic intensity of the contact and the movement of the contact: in accordance with a determination that the characteristic intensity of the contact increases above an intensity threshold, the device translates the structured content to display a start of a second section; and in accordance with a determination that the characteristic intensity of the contact does not increase above the intensity threshold, the device translates the structured content in accordance with a magnitude of the movement of the contact.
Abstract:
A method comprising: at an electronic device with a touch-sensitive display: detecting a user input and in response to detecting the user input, displaying a plurality of affordances representing contacts; detecting user selection of a displayed affordance representing a contact; in response to detecting user selection of the displayed affordance, replacing the display of the plurality of affordances with a display of contact information identifying a selected contact, the selected contact represented by the selected affordance; detecting a touch on the touch-sensitive display while displaying the contact information; in response to detecting the touch: displaying a drawing area, wherein the drawing area is responsive to touch input; detecting a first touch input in the drawing area representing a first stroke; displaying a visual representation, in the drawing area, of the first stroke; and sending data representing the first stroke to an external device associated with the selected contact.
Abstract:
The method for manipulating a cursor is performed at a portable multifunction device with one or more processors, memory, and a touch screen display. Initially, content of an electronic document is displayed on the display, where a cursor is displayed within the electronic document. Two substantially simultaneous touch inputs are then detected on the touch screen display, and preferably anywhere on the touch screen display. In response to detecting the two substantially simultaneous touch inputs, a portion of the content in the document closest to the cursor is selected, and the portion of the content is displayed as selected content.
Abstract:
The present invention relates generally to displaying video content on one or more video units. More particularly, the present disclosure relates to displaying synchronized content on one or more video units arranged in an array to provide a unified experience, and dynamically adjusting content displayed on the video units when a video unit is removed from the array.
Abstract:
An electronic device with a touch-sensitive surface, a display, and one or more sensors to detect intensity of contacts: displays a plurality of user interface objects in a first user interface; detects a contact while a focus selector is at a location of a first user interface object; and, while the focus selector is at the location of the first user interface object: detects an increase in a characteristic intensity of the contact to a first intensity threshold; in response, visually obscures the plurality of user interface objects, other than the first user interface object, while maintaining display of the first user interface object; detects that the characteristic intensity of the contact continues to increase above the first intensity threshold; and, in response, dynamically increases the amount of visual obscuring of the plurality of user interface objects, other than the first user interface object.
