Abstract: An electronic device (10) has a housing (12), a display (14) in the housing (12) that produces display content, a sensor (24, 26) that detects a squeeze of the housing, and control circuitry that changes an operational state of the electronic device (10) in response to the squeeze of the housing (12). The housing has a sidewall and the sensor (24, 26) detects the squeeze by detecting a flexing of the sidewall of the housing (12).
