    Abstract: Disclosed is an aqueous active substance composition, comprising a) at least one fungicidal organic active substance with a solubility in water of not more than 5 g/l at 25°C/1013 mbar, and b) a finely-divided polymer with an average particle size, determined by dynamic light scattering, of not more than 300 nm, in which the polymer particles comprise the active substance, the polymer being formed from ethylenically unsaturated monomers M comprising: - from 50 to 99.5% by weight, based on the total amount of the monomers M, of at least one neutral monoethylenically unsaturated monomer M1 with a solubility in water of not more than 30 g/l at 25°C, which is selected from styrene and esters of monoethylenically unsaturated mono- or dicarboxylic acids with C1-C10-alkanols or C5-C8-cycloalkanols, and - from 0.5 to 40% by weight, based on the total amount of the monomers M, of one or more ethylenically unsaturated monomers M2, which is selected from: a) monoethylenically unsaturated monomers M2a exhibiting at least one acid group or at least one anionic group; b) monoethylenically unsaturated neutral monomers M2b exhibiting a solubility in water of at least 50 g/l at 25°C; and c) monoethylenically unsaturated monomers M2c exhibiting at least one cationic group and/or at least one group which can be protonated in the aqueous medium; wherein the polymer is obtained by a process comprising radical aqueous emulsion polymerisation of an oil-in-water emulsion of the monomers M, the monomer droplets of the oil-in-water emulsion to be polymerised comprising the fungicidal active substance in dissolved form. Also disclosed is the use of the above an active substance composition in the control of microorganisms. A process for the protection of cellulose-comprising materials (such as wood) from infection by microorganisms comprising the treatment of the cellulose-comprising material with the above composition is further disclosed.

    Abstract: Composiciones acuosas de principios activos fungicidas y su uso para combatir microorganismos daninos, y en particular para proteger materiales que contienen celulosa, especialmente maderas, contra una infestacion por microorganismos, en particular, de aquellos hongos nocivos que pueden danar la madera o, en su caso, la celulosa. Las composiciones de principios activos contienen: a) por lo menos un principio activo organico funguicida con una hidrosolubilidad de no mas de 5 g/l a 25 degree C/1013 milibares y b) un polimero en particulas finas de un tamano medio, determinado por dispersion dinamica de la luz, de no mas 300 nm, en el que las particulas del polimero contienen el principio activo, estando el polimero sintetizado con monomeros M etilenicamente insaturados, que comprenden: - por lo menos 60% en peso respecto a la cantidad total de monomeros M, de por lo menos un monomeros M1 neutro, monoetilenicamente insaturado, con una hidrosolubilidad de no mas de 30 g/l a 25 degree C y - hasta 40% en peso respeto a la cantidad total de los monomeros M2 etilenicamente insaturados, distintos de los monomeros M1.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a microcapsular powder having a latent heat storage material as a capsule core and a capsule wall constructed of from 10% to 100% by weight of one or more C1-C24-alkyl esters of acrylic and/or methacrylic acid (monomers I), from 0% to 80% by weight of a water-insoluble or substantially water-insoluble bi- or polyfunctional monomer (monomers II), and from 0% to 90% by weight of other monomers (monomer III) all based on the total weight of the monomers, having an average particle size in the range of 150-400 μm and having 80% by weight of particles ≧90 μm in diameter, to a process for its production and to its use in bindered building materials, textiles and dumped beds.
