    Abstract: A thickened, uncrosslinked molding composition which has a long shelf life and can be cured above 50 DEG C. comprises a liquid reactive system, a thickener, a polymerization initiator and conventional additives. The thickener is a combination of a primary aromatic amine and an isocyanate. The molding compositions, which are, in particular, SMCs or BMCs, can be processed into moldings by compression molding, injection molding or transfer molding and subsequent curing.

    Abstract: Curable moulding compsn., consisting of an unsatd. polyester (I) with terminal dihydrodicyclopentadienyl (DCPD) gps., copolymerisable monomers (II), conventional additives and ancillaries, conventional cure catalysts and a phenolic or quinone-type inhibitor, also contains 100-20000 ppm, w.r.t. (I) + (II), of a phosphine or phosphite ester (III). (III) increases the curing activity of (I) with DCPD gps.. The compsn. can be cured in the usual way, pref. below 50 deg. C by adding the usual peroxide and Co accelerator. They give prods. wtih high thermal stability and heat distortion temp., good resistance to chemicals and excellent dielectric properties and are useful in the electrical field, engine compartment of automobiles etc.
