Abstract:
The present invention relates to a process for the alkoxylation of organic compounds comprising the reaction of at least one organic compound with at least onealkoxylating agent in the presence of a catalyst system, wherein a polyetheralcohol is obtained. The catalyst system comprises a metallo organic framework mate-rial comprising pores and at least one metal ion and at least one at least bidentate organic compound, which is coordinately bounded to said metal ion. Furthermore it relates to polyurethanes or polyurethane foams, which are obtainable by using a prepared polyether alcohol as a starting material.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for processing polyether alcohols, which are produced by the ring-opening polymerization of epoxides with OH-functional starters while using at least one heterogeneous catalyst. The invention is characterized in that the at least one heterogeneous catalyst is separated from the polyether alcohol by means of a membrane separation method.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method of reducing the inhalation toxicity of functional fluids by incorporating into a functional fluid an effective amount of a copolymer which is obtainable by copolymerizing ethylene oxide, propylene oxide and/or butylene oxide with an initiator monool or diol, said copolymer having a degree of unsaturation of less than about 0.01 meq/g.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for reacting epoxides with a starter-compound in the presence of a double metallocyanide-compound as a catalyst with reduced induction times. The activation of the double metallocyanide-compound occurs by adding the epoxides to a mixture made from double metallocyanide-compounds and starter compounds at an inner pressure of the reactor of less than 1 bar. The invention also relates to a polyether which can be obtained by means of said method.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a process for the alkoxylation of a monool with at least one alkoxylating agent to an alkoxylated alcohol wherein a catalyst is employed which comprises a metallo-organic framework material of metal ions and at least bidentate coordinately bound organic ligands.
