Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve resistance to ice and snow without impairing abrasion resistance and heat-generation durability by placing a foam rubber layer having closed cells in the thickness direction of a tread, and differentiating its foaming rate in the thickness direction and in the width direction of said tread. CONSTITUTION:A foam rubber layer 11 having closed cells is provided between both shoulders ranging over the whole thickness of a tread 3. In the foam rubber 12 constituting this foam rubber layer 11, the foaming rate Vs is differentiated between the outermost side part 11a and the innermost side part 11b, making the foaming rate Vs on the outermost side part 11a larger by more than 5% in the difference in foaming rate, than the foaming rate Vs on the innermost side part 11b. By this structure, resistance to ice and snow can be improved without impairing abrasion resistance and heat generation durability.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve resistance to ice and snow without impairing abrasion resisting performance and heat-generation durability by providing a specific foam rubber layer having a defined rate of volume to the whole volume of a tread on a tread surface side. CONSTITUTION:A foam rubber layer 10 having a volume more than 10% of the whole volume of a tread is formed on the surface part 3a of a tread 3. This foam rubber layer 10 has closed cells having a foaming rate of 5-50% and an average foam diameter of 5-150mum, while containing more than 20 per 1mm unit area of closed cells each having a foam diameter of 30-200mum. Also, its dynamic modulus of elasticity is specified to, 3X10 -13X10 dyn/cm . And, a low temp. softening agent of 2-20pts.wt. is blended with respect to a rubber ingredient of 100pts.wt. By this structure, resistance to ice and snow can be improved without impairing abrasion resistance and heat generation durability.

CONSTITUTION:50-200pts.wt. higher reinforcing carbon black (A) having a nitrogen adsorption surface area of 90-250m /g and 5-200pts.wt. aromatic process oil (B) having a kinematic viscosity at 40 deg.C of 6,000cst or above and a ratio of te kinematic viscosity at 40 deg.C to that at 100 deg.C of 90 or above are blended with 100pts.wt. rubber component composed of 30-100pts.wt. styrene/ butadiene copolymer rubber having a high styrene content and optionally at least 5pts.wt. (halogenated) butyl rubber or butadiene/acrylonitrile copolymer rubber. A tread is prepd. from the rubber compsn. to provide the titled pneu matic tire.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve durability without entailing any damage to abrasion resistance and gripping performance, by constituting a tread with the specified compounded rubber of styrene-butadiene copolymerized rubber or its blended rubber, the specified vulcanization accelerator, a vulcanizing agent and a bismuthamide compound. CONSTITUTION:A rubber composition for a tread is constituted of compounding 0.3-3wt.p. of a vulcanization accelerator of dibenzothiazyldisulfite or the like, 0.3-3wt.p. of sulfur and 0.1-1.5wt.p. of a bismuthamid compound expressed in a chemical equation I (see illustration) to blended rubber of 100wt.p. composed of styrene-butadiene copolymerized rubber or more than 30wt.p. of this rubber and 70wt.p. of rubber selected out of natural rubber or the like. And, the sulfur and the bismuthamid compound are set to 1/1 to 3/1 while the vulcanizing agent and this bismuthamid compound are set to 1/1 to 3/1, respectively. With this constitution, durability is improved.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trolley of a natural rubber drier in which the cleaning frequency for the trolley can be reduced by preventing a remaining rubber from adhering to the trolley with a simple and inexpensive construction.
SOLUTION: In the trolley 10 having a housing part 16 of natural rubber or a space upward of a bottom part 12, the space being made by arranging a plurality of partitions 14 in a lattice-like shape so that they stand on the bottom part 12 of the trolley 10, a slant surface structure 26 obliquely standing-up from the bottom part 12 to contact the inner surface 14e of the partition is mounted in the boundary part 24 between the bottom part 12 and the downward part 14d of the partition, and the slant surface structure 26 makes the dried natural rubber easily peelable from the bottom part 12 in the vicinity of the boundary part 24 to make the remaining rubber hardly adhere to the housing part 16 of the trolley 10 and minimize the remaining rubber in this part.

(the total amount of the inorganic compound, the silica and this component being 80-250 pts.wt.) carbon black having a nitrogen adsorption specific surface area of 80-288m /g and has a content of acetone/chloroform extractibles of 30-270 pts.wt. after vulcanization.
