The present invention relates to a process for producing a molding (FK), comprising the production of a thermoplastic polyurethane, comprising the reaction of at least one polyisocyanate composition, at least one chain extender, and at least one polyol composition, the production of a molding (FK*) from the thermoplastic polyurethane, the heating of the molding (FK*) to a temperature below the temperature at which the molding (FK*) is permanently deformable, and above the switching temperature of the thermoplastic polyurethane, the compressing of the heated molding (FK*) to give a molding (FK), and the cooling of the molding (FK) to a temperature below the switching temperature of the thermoplastic polyurethane, and also to the moldings obtainable or obtained by such a process.

The present invention relates to coated shaped articles comprising at least one shaped article comprising foamed beads comprising at least one polyurethane (A) and at least one coating comprising at least one polyurethane (B), wherein polyurethane (A) and polyurethane (B) are each constructed from at least one polyol and at least one polyisocyanate and wherein not less than 50 wt % of the polyol component used for constructing polyurethane (A) and polyurethane (B) is identical and not less than 50 wt % of the at least one polyisocyanate component used for constructing polyurethane (A) and polyurethane (B) is identical. The present invention further relates to processes for producing the coated shaped articles of the present invention and also to the method of using the coated shaped articles of the present invention for various applications.

The membrane is either pore-free (ii.1) or is porous and has pores with an average pore diameter of less than 2000 nm (ii.2). The membrane (ii) is at least partially in direct contact with the fibers of the nonwoven layer (i) and covers the mesh openings in the nonwoven layer (i) at least partially. The fibers of the first nonwoven layer (i) and the membrane (ii) in the contact area are at least partly joined to one another in an interlocking manner.
