    Abstract: PURPOSE:To attain shading distortion correction even if a correct initial value input is not performed with simple and inexpensive constitution by providing a fixed storage means storing a prescribed shading distortion data and applying shading distortion correction based on the shading distortion data in the said fixed storage means even if the shading distortion is not inputted. CONSTITUTION:When the correct shading distortion is not inputted as the initial value, a picture signal scanning a reference member 1 is converted into a digital value at an A/D converter 17 and stored in a RAM19. In performing the shading distortion correcting processing, a control section 15 reads the shading distortion data in the RAM19 and an ROM22, makes address in synchronizing with the read control of an element 11, gives an output to a switch 23, which selects either or them and gives it to a comparator 25 as a reference voltage via a D/A converter 24 and resistors R1 and R2.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To equalize recording dots by dividing a common liquid chamber in an ink jet head in the direction of arrangement of orifices, mounting ink tanks at every each chamber and separately controlling ink pressure. CONSTITUTION:Heating resistors 2-1,...,2-n generate thermal pulses according to the input of signals, and ink is subjected to the action of the thermal energy and generates the change of a condition, such as cubical expansion, evaporation, etc. A pressure change due to the change of the condition is transmitted in the direction of the discharge orifices formed at the front edge section 7 of a substrate 1 and the end sections of the groovy patterns of a grooved plate 4, the pressure change is turned into operating force for discharging ink and ink is discharged and flown as liquid drops from the discharge orifices. Here, the common liquid chamber is divided into plural number in the vertical direction, the tanks 12-1,..., 12-m are mounted through pipes 8-1,...,8-m at every each liquid chamber 11-1,... 11-m, ink pressure is separately controlled, the pressure difference of ink in the upper section and lower section of the head is adjusted and the recording dots can be equalized.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To uniformalize the size of a recording dot and to improve a picture quality, by a method wherein a discharge orifice at an upper part of a head is caused to differ with that at a lower part of a head so that recording dots are uniformalized. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of discharge orifices form a multiorifice structure which, in turn, is erected in a perpendicular direction, and discharge calibers of the discharge orifices 16 are caused to differ from each other so that recording dots are uniformalized. The caliber of the orifice 16 is adjusted through the formation of a pattern grooved in an appropriate size in a grooved plate 7. This causes a difference in the size of the recording dot to be brought to an extent that it can be almot disregarded, which results in obtaining an uneven picture quality.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To automatically select a transmission line at high sampling rate even without calling the operator for an exchange from a user on the call originating side by transmitting a super-high speed modem identification signal and a super-high speed modem ability signal after call incoming. CONSTITUTION:When a switch 10 is switched to B side, a switch 14 is switched to C side and a modem 4 is connected to the transmission line, the super-high speed modem identification signal is transmitted from the modem 4 to show that a facsimile equipment (FAX) on the side to be called can be operated at the super-high speed modem rate. Next, the FAX on the call originating side starts a very high-speed modem ability signal detection timer. When the call originating side super-high speed modem ability signal (SHA) is detected at the modem 4, the SHA is transmitted from the side to be called. Thus, an exchange discriminates the SHA and possesses the transmission line at the high sampling rate. On the other hand, when the modem 4 can not detect any SHA within prescribed time, the ability on the reception side is reported by transmitting an initial identification signal.

Furthermore, when a multiple number output is designated to one sorter stage (n) corresponding to plural addresses, the circuit 52 implements the control of classifying the plural recording paper sheets outputted to the sorter stage (n) by filing them with a stapler and the control to designate the multiple number output to the destination.
