Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a sensor excellent in detection sensitivity and strength by forming the base section of a detecting section roughly into an octagon in cross section, and concurrently, covering three surfaces composed of one surface where the detection element of the detecting beam section is formed and of two surface adjacent to the aforesaid one surface with a protective film. CONSTITUTION:A silicon nitride film 102 is so patterned that an overlapping section with a detecting beam section is formed in a base section 101 processed by etching. The film-forming and patterning of a lower electrode 103, a piezo-electric thin film 104 and an upper electrode 105 are carried out. The base board section 101 of the detecting beam section is roughly formed into an octagon shape in cross section, and three surfaces composed of one surface where the detection element of the detecting beam section is formed, and of two surface adjacent to the aforesaid one surface, are covered with a protective film 106. Covering as mentioned above prevents the electrodes 103 and 105 and the piezoelectric thin film 104 from being damaged by etching solution, the side surface of the detecting beam section can be formed roughly into an upright shape by etching, and concurrently, deterioration due to moisture and the like can by prevented.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the sticking of dust to the surface of a sheet substrate by burring by applying a release agent on the outer edge parts of the substrate, then bringing the sheet substrate coated with a UV curing resin and a rolled stamper into contact therewith and curing the resin. CONSTITUTION:The oil-repellent release agent 4 to which the UV curing resin 6 does not tightly adhere is applied by two coating rollers 3 on the outer edge parts at both ends of the sheet substrate 1 which is delivered from a feed roller 2 and is not formed with guide grooves by the UV curing resin. The sheet substrate is then passed through a heat treating device 5 to form the release layers 4 in the outer edge part at both ends of the sheet substrate and the resin 6 is cured. The application accuracy of the UV curing resin at the time of continuously forming the substrate with the guide grooves consisting of the UV curing resin by using the rolled stamper 10 is enhanced in this way and the sticking of the dust to the surfaced of the substrate by the burring generated from protrusion is prevented. In addition, the exchange of the rolled stamper 10 is decreased.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To allow the uniform tight contact of the stamper and a roller by using a sheet-like adhesive agent for adhering the stamper and the roller. CONSTITUTION:Any sheet-like adhesive agents which are solid at ordinary temp. and can be molded to a sheet shape are usable. Ethylene/vinyl acetate, etc., are usable for the adhesive agent. The adhering of the stamper 12 to the roller 11 is executed by inserting the sheet-like adhesive agent 13 between the stamper and the roller and moving a heat roller 14 heated to a required temp. to fix the stamper and the roller. An equally good alternative is to wind a heat shrinkable tube or elastic material on the roller 11 from the stamper 12 side so as to cover the entire part of the roller and to heat and adhere the stamper and the roller according to need for a specified period of time. The stamper and the roller may be subjected to resting, etc., under suitable conditions after the heating for tight adhesion in the case of the adhesive agent requiring the curing reaction after the heating. The stamper and the roller are brought into tight contact with each other and the roll-shaped stamper which is free from the intrusion of bubbles, etc., is obtd.

Next, pattern transfer is performed to the PMMA sheet by rotating the driving pressure rollers 4, 5 and the feed roller 6.
