    Abstract: The invention relates to a contact for an electrical connector protected by a polymer film and its fabrication method. This contact (3 or 7) possesses a contact resistance of at most 10 ohms and it comprises a base metal covered with an organic polymer film which is homogeneous and adherent and from 5 to 500 nm thick. The polymer film can be deposited by electropolymerisation of a monomer, such as acrylonitrile, and then subjected to a heat treatment or to radiation in order to improve its electrical conductivity and to obtain a contact resistance not exceeding 10 ohms.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for grafting and growing a conductive organic film on(to) an electrically conductive or semiconductive surface in which the grafting and growing of the film are performed simultaneously by electro-reduction of a diazonium salt that is a precursor of the said film on(to) the said surface cathodically polarized at a potential greater than or equal, in absolute value, to the electro-reduction potential of the diazonium salt relative to a reference electrode.
