    Abstract: There is prepared an aqueous stable suspension of a water insoluble silicate capable of binding calcium ions and it is used for the production of washing and cleaning agents. The suspension contains in addition to water components A and B wherein component A is a silicate capable of binding calcium and having the formula (Cat2/nO)x-Me2O3x(SiO2)y I and component B is a dispersing agent comprising a mixture of at least two fatty alcohols polyglycol ether based on isotridecyl alcohol or another aliphatic C13 alcohol and ethylene oxide having the following properties: (a) Fatty alcohol polyglycol ether having 4.5 to 5.5 EO units -Turbidity point DIN 53917 56 to 60 DEG C. -Solidification point +4 to -25 DEG C. -Viscosity at 50 DEG C. 13 to 28 m Pas -Density at 50 DEG C. 0.94 to 0.96 g/ml - (b) Fatty alcohol polyglycol ether having 6 to 8 EO units -Turbidity point DIN 53917 66 to 74 DEG C. -Solidification point +12 to -16 DEG C. -Viscosity at 50 DEG C. 18 to 28 m Pas -Density at 50 DEG C. 0.96 to 0.98 g/ml -

Pumpable stable aqueous suspensions of a water-insoluable silicate capable of binding calcium ions in the form of a finely divided bound water-containing synthetically produced water-insoluble compound corresponding to the general formula (Cat2/n O)x . (SiO2 )y (I), in which Cat represents a cation which is exchangeable with calcium of valency n x represents a number from 0.7 to 1.5, Me represents boron or aluminium, and y represents a number from 0.8 to 6, characterised in that contains the water-insoluble silicate capable of binding calcium ions in quantities of at least 0.5% by weight and as constituent having a dispersing effect, from 0.5 to 6% by weight of a mixture of at least two different alkylphenol ethoxylates corresponding to the formula see diagramm : EP0144492,P9,F2 wherein in Formula II R=an aliphatic radical containing from 1 to 15 carbon atoms and n represents from 2 to 7 preferably from 4 to 6, in particular 5 in one alkylphenol ethoxylate used in the mixture and from 8 to 15, preferably from 8 to 12, in particular 9 or 10 in the other alkylphenol ethoxylate and a content which is dissolved in the aqueous phase of from 4 to 25% by weight of the trisodium salt of nitrilotriacetic acid, with respect to the suspension, on the condition that the suspension contains at least 20% by weight of water.

    Abstract: There are provided aqueous pumpable stable suspensions of a water insoluble silicate capable of binding calcium ions which contain based on the total weight of the aqueous suspension (A) as the silicate capable of binding calcium 0.5 to 80 weight percent of a finely divided, bound water containing, synthetically produced, water insoluble compound of the general formula (Cat2/nO)x.Me2O3.(SiO2)y (I), in which Cat is a cation exchangeable with calcium and which has the valence n, x is a number from 0.7 to 1.5, Me is boron or aluminum and y is a number between 0.8 and 6 and (B) as a dispersingly active component 0.5 to 6 weight percent of a mixture of at least two different alkylphenolethoxylates of the formula (II) where R is an alkyl group of 1 to 15 carbon atoms. The component A especially can be a zeolite A while component B can consist of two alkylphenolethoxylates of formula (II) in which m is 2 to 7 and m is 8 to 15. The suspension can be employed for the production of powdery washing agents and detergents.

The suspension can be used for the manufacture of powdery cleaning agents and detergents.

    Abstract: Aqueous bleaching agent suspensions based on a water-soluble peroxycarboxylic acid suspended in a carrier liquid in the presence of an organic thickening agent and of an acidifying agent exhibit an improved storage resistance over known suspensions with this base. This is achieved by means of pourable to pasty bleaching agent suspensions which contain a xanthan polysaccharide or agar polysaccharide as thickening agent and, in addition, a hydrate-forming neutral salt which desensitizes peroxycarboxylic acids. Preferred suspensions exhibit a pH of 2-5 and contain 10-30% by wt. diperoxydodecanedioic acid, 5-20% by wt. sodium sulfate and 0.1-1.0% by wt. xanthan. The use of non-dried, hydrophilized and optionally in situ desensitized peroxycarboxylic acids is especially preferred. The bleaching agent suspensions are prepared by homogeneously suspending the peroxycarboxylic acid in the thickened carrier liquid. The storage-resistant bleaching agent suspensions are used as laundry bleaching agents and for preparing cleaning agents and disinfection agents.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a process for detoxifying cyanide- and/or cyanocomplex-containing aqueous solutions in the presence of heavy metals from the series consisting of Mn, Co, Ni, Cu, Cd, Zn, in particular Cu, by oxidative treatment of the solutions with a peroxide compound at pHs of 8 to 12, the peroxide compound used being an alkali metal percarbonate. The alkali metal percarbonate, preferably 2 Na2CO3 . 3 H2O2, is preferably added in solid form to the solutions to be detoxified. The process according to the invention, with respect to the use of peroxide compound, is significantly more effective than the previously known process using hydrogen peroxide.
