    Abstract: Granular detergent builders comprise 70-80 wt.% finely divided zeolite, 2-3 wt.% nonionic surfactant, 0.5-5 wt.% carboxymethyl cellulose and/or methyl cellulose, 0-1 wt.% alkali, balance H2O. The zeolite is of formula (Q2/nO)x.M2O3.(SiO2/y, where Q is an n-valent cation exchangeable with Ca; x = 0.7-1.5; Me = Al or B; y = 0.8-6. Pref. the zeolite is powdered zeolite A with the particle size distribution described in DE2651485. The surfactant is an ethoxylated fatty alcohol or alkylphenol.

    Abstract: 1. Pumpable stable aqueous suspensions of a water-insoluable silicate capable of binding calcium ions in the form of a finely divided bound water-containing synthetically produced water-insoluble compound corresponding to the general formula (Cat2/n O)x . Me2 O3 . (SiO2 )y (I), in which Cat represents a cation which is exchangeable with calcium of valency n x represents a number from 0.7 to 1.5, Me represents boron or aluminium, and y represents a number from 0.8 to 6, characterised in that contains the water-insoluble silicate capable of binding calcium ions in quantities of at least 0.5% by weight and as constituent having a dispersing effect, from 0.5 to 6% by weight of a mixture of at least two different alkylphenol ethoxylates corresponding to the formula see diagramm : EP0144492,P9,F2 wherein in Formula II R=an aliphatic radical containing from 1 to 15 carbon atoms and n represents from 2 to 7 preferably from 4 to 6, in particular 5 in one alkylphenol ethoxylate used in the mixture and from 8 to 15, preferably from 8 to 12, in particular 9 or 10 in the other alkylphenol ethoxylate and a content which is dissolved in the aqueous phase of from 4 to 25% by weight of the trisodium salt of nitrilotriacetic acid, with respect to the suspension, on the condition that the suspension contains at least 20% by weight of water.

    Abstract: The adsorbent has a high absorption capacity for liquid to pasty ingredients of detergents and cleaners and has the following components: (a) 60 to 80 per cent by weight of a synthetic sodium silicate which is capable of cation exchange and contains bound water, (b) 0.1 to 8 per cent by weight of sodium silicate of the composition Na2O : SiO2 = 1 : 2 to 1 : 3.5, (c) 3 to 15 per cent by weight of a mixture of two different polyacrylic acids which have a different viscosity number, (d) 8 to 18 per cent by weight of water which can be removed at a drying temperature of 145 DEG C, (e) 0 to 5 per cent by weight of a nonionic surfactant containing polyol ether groups, where the adsorbent has an average particle size of 0.2 to 1.2 mm and the particles with a size of less than 0.05 mm do not comprise more than 2 per cent by weight and the particles with a size of more than 2 mm do not comprise more than 5 per cent by weight, and the bulk density is 400 to 700 g/l.
