Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection nozzle 1 capable of preventing leak of fuel from a second injection hole 8 at a time of low lift of a needle 3 and reducing dead volume in a suck chamber 9.
SOLUTION: A projection end part 14 entering the suck chamber 9 of a nozzle body 2 is provided on a tip part of the needle 3, and a recess groove 14a is formed on an outer circumference surface of the projection end part 14. A valve member 4 is provided in a space formed between an inner circumference surface of the suck chamber 9 and the recess groove 14a, and is arranged close to an inlet of the second injection hole 8. Negative pressure is generated when fuel of high speed passes through a narrow gap between the valve element 4 and the second injection hole 8 at a time of low lift of the needle 3 and the negative pressure acts as force pulling the valve member 4 to the inlet of the second injection hole 8. Consequently, since the valve member 4 is pressed against the inlet of the second injection hole by pressure difference acting on the valve member 4 when the valve element 4 closes the inlet of the second injection hole 8, the inlet of the valve member 4 of the second injection hole 8 is surely closed by the valve member 4.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection device having high valve closing responsiveness at low costs. SOLUTION: When a valve opening driving pulse is turned on by a command of an ECU, current-carrying is carried out to a first coil part 31, a movable core 22 is attracted by a first fixed core 31, and a nozzle needle 21 is separated from a valve seat 13, and then, a valve is opened. When a valve closing driving pulse is turned on before a time TX than the valve closing driving pulse is turned on, current-carrying is carried out to a second coil part 42, and then, force for attracting the movable core 22 by the second fixed core 41 is generated. After valve closing is started, energizing force of a valve closing direction is rapidly increased, time delay from a time when valve closing is started to a time when the valve closing is completed, is suppressed, and thereby, valve closing responsiveness is improved.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injector which reduces harmful matter discharged in exhaust gas. SOLUTION: Fuel sent out from a high pressure fuel pump is led to flow from a passing hole 43 into a fuel pass 50. When fuel pressure in the fuel pass 50 becomes a first pressure value P1 or more, a small diametral cylindrical part 22 is elastically deformed on a diametral outside so as to form a first clearance in a first blocked part 51, and fuel injection from this first clearance is started. When fuel pressure in the fuel pass 50 becomes a second pressure value P2 or more which is larger than the first pressure value P1, a cylindrical part 32 is elastically deformed on a diametral outside so as to form a second clearance in a second blocked part 51, and fuel injection from the second clearance is started in addition to the fuel injection from the first clearance. Two- stage injection from the first and second clearances is thusly executed so that an initial injection rate can be suppressed, and an NOx can be reduced. The fuel injection from the first clearance is executed when only the fuel pressure becomes the first pressure value P1 or more, therefore, fuel can be atomized, and occurrence of a smoke can be suppressed.
