    Abstract: The cellulose fibres are treated with an aqueous liquor containing a wetting agent, an optionally quaternised reaction product of polyethyleneimine with a bifunctional alkylating agent, and an anionic surfactant, and the material is dried and dyed without addition of alkali. This process can also be combined with a sizing process. The dyeings obtained are unlevel, making the textile materials suitable for making up into fashionable articles.

    Abstract: of the disclosure: Perfluorocarboxylic acid salts of a monovalent metal are reacted with perfluorocarboxylic acid fluorides in aprotic polar solvents. Perfluoroketones are obtained. The salt of the perfluorocarboxylic acid can be replaced by alkali metal salts of formic acid, oxalic acid or of oxygencontaining mineral acids, the central atom of which is an clement of the groups IIIA to VIIA of the periodic table and which mineral acid is weaker than trifluoroacetic acid. The same result is obtained if the anhydride of the perfluorocarboxylic acid is contacted with an alkali metal fluoride. The synthesized perfluoroketones are liquids of high chemical and thermal stability.

    Abstract: Preparation of derivatives of benzene containing CF3 groups from the corresponding compounds containing CCl3 groups (e.g. trichloromethyl benzene) is carried out continuously with excellent yield rates by reaction with liquid hydrogen fluoride in an autoclave above 80 DEG C, (which latter exceeds the stoichiometric proportion by at least 25 mole %). The reactants are fed continuously into the autoclave. The reaction mixture preferably becomes pressurized to at least 20 atmospheres and homogeneous after having reached a certain filling level. The reaction mixture is thereafter withdrawn proportionally to its feeding-in rate. The mixture may be conveyed through one or several additional autoclaves with the final withdrawal of the reaction mixture being out from the terminal autoclave of this cascade. The fluorination products are well known starting and inermediate products for the preparation of dyestuffs and pesticidal compositions.
