Abstract:
In a continuous twin-belt prepress for the production of particle board panels with pressure rollers suspended in pairs, the upper pressure rollers are suspended resiliently so that they can be pressed upwardly counter to the spring force by a catch member of a metal support screen bearing the chipboard cake when that member passes through. This prevents damage to the press and especially its forming belts as a result of increased pressure during pressing.
Abstract:
A torque support mountable between a first housing of a driven unit and a second housing of a driving unit includes a scalloped one-piece plastic base body having a first side connectable with the first housing and a second side connectable with the second housing so as to be fixed with respect to rotation relative to both the first housing an the second housing. The first side includes a first planar contact face with through-openings for fastening with the first housing and the second side includes a flange-like edge area with a second planar contact face for resting against the second housing. The plastic piece is injection molded with support webs and includes metal bushings which are arranged perpendicular to the second planar contact face to provide a torque support which is simple and economical to manufacture, mechanically stable, has a certain elasticity and is adaptable to virtually any gear unit connection surfaces. The bushings may be pressed toward the second housing with fastening means while the second planar contact face presses against the second housing in a frictional engagement. Through-openings are formed at the flange-like edge area of the plastic base body for connection of the torque support to the first housing.
Abstract:
An insulating part for an electronic device includes a first metallized outer surface capable of cooling one or more electronic components disposed on the insulating part. The insulating part also includes one or more additional metallized outer surfaces, such as a set of cooling ribs, to provide improved cooling for the electronic components. These additional outer surfaces are coupled electrically and thermally to the first metallized outer surface, and to each other by recesses containing a heat transfer element, such as a metallization or a soldered connection. Thus, heat transferred to the first outer surface is further dissipated among the several additional cooling surfaces.
Abstract:
The invention provides thermoplastic molding compositions having improved properties. The compositions are composed of a mixture of from 99.999 to 99.9 wt.% of a linear polyoxymethylene and from 0.001 to 0.1 wt.% of a branched or cross-linked copolymer of trioxan with a multifunctionally reacting compound and optionally a monofunctionally reacting compound, or with a monofunctionally reacting compound and a branched or cross-linked polyether, or of a subsequently branched or cross-linked linear polyoxymethylene having functional groups in lateral or chain position.
Abstract:
Branched or crosslinked poly(exymethylenes) are suitable as nucleating agents for linear poly(oxymethylenes). For ameliorating the mechanical properties of shaped articles, being prepared of such moulding compositions which contain nucleating agents, high molecular weight polymers are used having a certain softening point, second order transition temperature and particle size, and which are blended into the moulding compositions. The modified moulding compositions can be processed in the thermoplastic state and are suitable as industrially useful materials for preparing semi-finished articles and finished products.

Abstract:
A rotor for an electric machine includes a pole core having a coolable magnetisable rotor section which is made of a super-conducting material. The rotor section has a rotationally symmetric geometry. The pole core is formed as a cylinder and the rotor section is arranged on an outer surface of the cylinder so as to be encircling.
