Abstract: Ein Verfahren zum Wiederherstellen einer Zeigerposition innerhalb einer Anwendung als Reaktion darauf, dass ein Benutzer zwischen Anwendungen wechselt. Das Verfahren umfasst einen oder mehrere Computerprozessoren zum Erkennen eines Satzes von Anwendungen, die auf einer Datenverarbeitungseinheit eines Benutzers ausgeführt werden. Ferner umfasst das Verfahren ein Ermitteln einer Folge von Zeigerpositionen innerhalb einer grafischen Benutzeroberfläche (GUI) einer ersten Anwendung des Satzes ausgeführter Anwendungen als Reaktion darauf, dass der Benutzer mit der ersten Anwendung interagiert. Ferner umfasst das Verfahren ein Feststellen, dass der Benutzer sein Interagieren mit einer zweiten Anwendung unterbricht und wieder auf die erste Anwendung zugreift. Weiterhin umfasst das Verfahren ein Ermitteln einer Zeigerposition aus der Folge von Zeigerpositionen, die jeweils zu der GUI der ersten Anwendung gehören. Ferner umfasst das Verfahren eine Reaktion auf ein Feststellen, dass der Benutzer wieder auf die erste Anwendung zugreift, indem er den Zeiger innerhalb der GUI der ersten Anwendung auf der festgelegten Zeigerposition positioniert.

Abstract: A surveyor's mark and a method of forming the mark. A tag is embedded in a head. The head is removably assembled to a stick. The head is configured to be above a ground when the stick is planted in the ground. The head includes a tag. The tag in the head includes an identification number whose value identifies the tag and indicates if the head is disassembled from the stick. If the stick is planted in the ground and the head is above the ground, then pulling the head in an attempt to pull up the mark from the ground results in changing the value of the identification number in the tag from a first code value to a second code value that differs from the first code value.

Abstract: A method and system for creating a recursive scalable template instance (RSTI) in an electronic data table having dimensions D1 and D2. Abstract: A method and system for managing deletion operations in a recursive scalable template instance (RSTI) of an electronic data table having dimensions D1 and D2. Abstract: This invention deals with a safe key distribution and authentication in a data communication network (e.g. wireless LAN type of network). The network includes a network manager to which are connected, via a LAN wired circuit, one or more base stations. Individual remote stations are, in turn, wirelessly connected to an installed base station. One essential function for achieving security in such a network, is a mechanism to reliably authenticate the exchanges of data between communicating parties. This involves the establishment of session keys, which keys need to be distributed safely to the network components. An original and safe method is provided with this invention for key distribution and authentication during network installation, said method including using the first installed base station for generating a network key and a backbone key, and then using said first installed base station for subsequent remote station or additional base station installations while avoiding communicating said network key.
