Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wrapping film in which less materials transfer to foods, wrapping films are not entangled with each other before wrapping, the adhesion to an object to be wrapped is excellent in wrapping, the peelability is also excellent, the wrapping film is easily peelable after the wrapping, and the handling property is excellent. SOLUTION: The wrapping film has an adhesive surface on at least one surface. The shear peeling strength measured after the adhesive surface is abutted on a glass surface of 0.7-1.5 nm in surface roughness at the pressure of 4 Pa is 400 cN/25 cm2 or below, and the shear peeling strength measured after the adhesive surface is abutted on the glass surface at the pressure of 4 kPa is 700 cN/25 cm2 or over.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wrapping film used when food is packed to be preserved or heated and cooked in a microwave oven, having low temp. fragility resistance, high transparency and hot water stability, capable of withstanding microwave oven cooking, having good mutual container and film self-adhesiveness, good in delivery properties and sawtooth cutting properties and having stiffness. SOLUTION: In a wrapping film having at least three layers, that is, an outer layer, an intermediate layer and an inner layer, the outer layer and the inner layer are formed from a resin compsn. consisting of 95-50 pts. of (A) low density polyethylene with a density of 0.940 g/cm3 or less and 5-50 pts.wt. of (B) an ethylene/α-olefin copolymer with a density of 0.920 g/cm3 or less and the intermediate layer is formed from (C) high density polyethylene with MI of 8 or more and/or (D) an ethylene/α-olefin copolymer with an MI of 120 or more and the thickness of this multilayered structure is 5-30 μm and the thickness ratio of the intermediate layer is 10-80%.

A composite material of the glassy carbon and one or more inorganic substances selected from ultrafine particles of a metal oxide, metal nitride, metal carbide or metal boride, silicon carbide whiskers, silicon nitride whiskers and graphite whiskers is used as the material consisting essentially of the glassy carbon.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the stability of a base current in a carbon electrode and thereby to improve the precision in analysis and reproducibility, by a method wherein the density and the size of an opening existing in a working electrode are set at specified values. CONSTITUTION:A sample liquid to be quantified is supplied from a high-speed liquid chromatography 1 into an introduction port 2, made to contact with a working electrode 4 covered with a Teflon seal 3, made further to contact with a reference electrode 5 and then discharged from a discharge port 7 to which an auxiliary electrode 6 is fitted. Between the working electrode 4 and the reference electrode 5 a voltage is impressed from a power source 8. A current value of the working electrode 4 is relation to the eluation volume of the sample liquid passing from the introduction port 2 to the discharge port 7 is measured for analysis by a current measuring device 9. Besides, the working electroe 4 has openings whose density is 2X10 /mm bellow and whose maximum diameter is 0.5mum or below, and it is formed of an isotropic carbon material. By using a surface-polished vitreous carbon material as this carbon material, S/N can be improved and thus a stable analysis can be attained.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide an optical recording medium light in weight, free of toxicity, having excellent stability and easy to produce, by using a polished carbonaceous material for a recording layer, and utilizing variations in the Raman spectrum caused by irradiation with laser beams for recording information. CONSTITUTION:A recording layer is constituted of a carbonaceous material, and it is preferable that a base and the recording layer are constituted of the same carbonaceous material. The carbonaceous material means a material consisting solely of carbon or comprising carbon as a main constituent, such as an extremely highly crystalline and highly oriented carbon, coke, vitreous carbon confirmed to be amorphous by X-ray analysis and carbon black in which ultra fine particles are aggregated. Particularly preferably, a vitreous carbonaceous material is used. Information is written into and read from a optical recording medium by a laser beam. A laser light source may be, for example, a neon, helium-cadmium, argon, helium-neon, ruby or semiconductor laser device.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the durability of the title part and to reduce frictional resistance with a recording medium by using vitreous carbon as the deposition source and radiating particles having kinetic energy at more than a specified value into a vacuum and depositing the coated film of the vitreous carbon. CONSTITUTION:The coated film of vitreous carbon is formed on the surface of the sliding-contact part of a recording medium which is brought into contact with the recording medium. In this process, vitreous carbon is used as the deposition source and the particles having 1eV kinetic energy are radiated into a vacuum to deposit the particles as the coated film of vitreous carbon. For example, vitreous carbon is deposited on the surface of a magnetic head 1 which is brought into contact with a recording head medium to form a coated film 2. a sputtering method or a cluster-ion beam method is used as the depositing method. A sliding-contact part having excellent durability and without damaging a recording medium can be thus produced.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a practically nonporous vitrified carbonaceous material contg. no closed pores by providing a specified composition to a thermosetting resin as a starting material so that it can retain a specified wt% of water in the state of a precondensation product before curing. CONSTITUTION:A thermosetting resin capable of retaining >=20wt% water in the state of a precondensation product before curing is carbonized and calcined at >=800 deg.C in an inert atmosphere to manufacture a vitrified carbonaceous material. The composition of the thermosetting resin is composed of 70-100pts.wt. of one or more kinds of compounds selected among a monomer mixture consisting of phenol and/or furfuryl alcohol and formalin in 1:4-1:0 molar ratio, phenol resin, furan resin and a condensation product of phenol modified furan and 0-30pts.wt. of one or more kinds of compounds selected among lignin, modified rosin and modified cellulose. The thermosetting resin has 300-8,000cps viscosity at 25 deg.C.
