Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject device so designed as not to generate large noise by wholly closing the opener of a planting cylinder when an inner scraper is put through downward off the opener of the planting cylinder. SOLUTION: This planting device for a transplanter is so designed that, during the rising process of a planting cylinder, a pair of openers 58 are closed and an inner scraper 69 is advanced into the openers 58, and then moved downward inside the openers 58 as the planting cylinder 35 rises, and allowed to go off the lower end so as to scrape the soil adhered to the inner surface of the openers 58 downward. In this case, the openers' closing time is set so as to wholly close them after the inner scraper 69 is put through the openers downward.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To reduce the size over the entire part of an apparatus by taking the articles to be sorted out of a shipping section by a robot hand, supplying these articles to a discriminating device, taking the articles to be sorted after the discrimination out of this discriminating device and loading the articles to the prescribed points by classes of a loading section to the state by prescribed postures. CONSTITUTION: The first and second arms 12, 14 and supporting rod 15 of the robot hand H are actuated in accordance with the information detected by a position recognition apparatus 10 and finger molding 1 is positioned so as to hold one cucumber existing in the highest position in a shipping container 4 at the time of sorting the cucumbers. Pressurized air is supplied to the finger moldings 1 to bend the finger molding 1 toward the palm side, by which the cucumber is clamped. This cucumber is transferred to the beginning end of transportation of a belt conveyor 8 of a shape discriminating apparatus 6 and the length thereof is detected by a discrimination sensor 9 during transportation. The cucumber is then clamped again by the finger moldings 1 and is placed to the prescribed position of the prescribed loading container 7 in accordance with the information detected by the sensor 9, where the clamping is released and the cucumber is loaded into the container.

The raking packer 9B adjacent to the raking packer 9A placed at the lateral side end is arranged at the front of the other raking packers 9A, 9C, 9D.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a reasonable knotter used for general purposes and having both the advantage of a relatively simple structure with a pulling means and the advantage of a good knotting ability with a pulling-out means by applying a simple modification approximately comprising forming irregularities on a string-guiding member and a knotting bill. CONSTITUTION:In a rubber string knotter of knotter bill structure for knotting a knotting article manually loaded and moved along a working table, the engaging part of a bent plate 11 with a groove 2 formed in the fixed tine 8 of a knotting bill 43 is formed so as to be relatively moved with the movement of a string-guiding member 47, the bent plate 11 being attached to the lower surface of the string-guiding member 47 used for pulling out the string from the knotting bill 43. The movement range of the string-guiding member 47 is set so that the engaging part is moved from a position on the upper side toward the movement of the string-guiding member 47 for the string wound on the knotting bill 47 to the tapered tip position of th knotting bill 43. The bent plate 11 directly acts on the string wound on the knotting bill 43 for pulling out and knotting the string.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To separate root parts of carrot from foliar parts accurately in a separated state from the foliar parts as much as possible and to harvest carrots. CONSTITUTION:A transporting device A consists of a revolving endless belt part 3a and a rotating endless chain 4 and carrots 30 from a pulling and raising device 3 are transported by holding their foliar parts 30b. In the transportation, the carrots 30 are moved to the tip side of the foliar parts 30b and the top of carrot root parts 30a are brought into contact with a gripping and acting part of the endless rotating chain 4 so that the foliar part held by the gripping and acting part at the end of the transportation end part is set as an estimated place of cutting. A separating device B is equipped with a revolving endless belt 5 and a cutter 6, receives the carrots 30 from the rotating endless chain 4 by the revolving endless belt 5 and its set estimated place of cutting is supplied to the cutter 6. A rotor 16 rotating around a starting part of transportation of the revolving endless belt 5 is positioned closer to a starting side of transportation of the rotating endless chain 4 than a rotator 17 rotating around an ending part of transportation of the rotating endless chain 4. The revolving endless belt 5 receives the transported carrots in a starting state of holding action on the foliar parts 30b before holding by the endless rotating chain 4 is released.
