Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a mobility of a wireless base station in wireless communications. According to various embodiments, a method performed by a master node (MN) serving a wireless device with a source secondary node (SN) in a dual connectivity (DC) in a wireless communication system comprises: receiving, from the source SN, a message for initiating a SN change procedure, wherein the message comprises an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) node indication informing that the SN change procedure is related to a mobility of an IAB node; selecting a target SN supporting an IAB function based on the IAB node indication; transmitting, to the target SN, an SN addition request message comprising the IAB node indication; and receiving, from the target SN, an SN addition request acknowledge message.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for switching between unicast and multicast in a wireless communication system is provided. A DU of a RAN node provides the MBS by using a first transmission to the wireless device. A DU of a RAN node receives, from the wireless device, feedback information in response to the provided MBS. A DU of a RAN node transmits, to a central unit (CU) of the RAN node, a first switching message based on the received feedback information. A DU of a RAN node receives, from the CU, a second switching message to switch the first transmission to the second transmission for the MBS. A DU of a RAN node provides the MBS by using the second transmission to the wireless device.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for determining to switch between unicast and multicast in a wireless communication system is provided. A CU of a RAN node provides, via the DU, the MBS by using a first transmission to the wireless device. A CU of a RAN node receives, from the DU, measurement report for the MBS generated by the wireless device. A CU of a RAN node determines whether to switch the first transmission to a second transmission for the MBS based on the measurement report. A CU of a RAN node provides, via the DU, the MBS by using the second transmission to the wireless device.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for managing dedicated preconfigured uplink resource (D-PUR) configuration for a moving wireless device in a wireless communication system. A radio access network (RAN) node transmits, to a wireless device, a configuration of a dedicated pre-allocated uplink resource (D-PUR) for the wireless device. The RAN node transmits, to a core network node, a first message including information related to the D-PUR for the wireless device. The RAN node receives, from the core network node, a second message informing that the core network node detects an access of the wireless device to another RAN node based on the information related to the D-PUR. The RAN node releases the configuration of the D-PUR for the wireless device.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for controlling mobile early data transmission (EDT) procedure in a wireless communication system is provided. A first core network node, in a wireless communication, receives, from a second core network node, a message for a downlink data including a size of the downlink data. The first core network node determines whether to initiate an early data transmission (EDT) procedure for the downlink data based on the size of the downlink data. The first core network node transmits, to a radio access network (RAN) node, a paging message including information related to the EDT procedure for the downlink data based on the decision to initiate the EDT procedure for a wireless device.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for supporting of inter-gNB handover in higher layer multi-connectivity is provided. A target master node (MN) of an inter-MN handover procedure receives a handover request message including information on a redundancy sequence number (RSN) from a source MN of the inter-MN handover procedure. The information on the RSN informs that a protocol data unit (PDU) session mapped to the RSN is allocated to a secondary node (SN) of the inter-MN handover procedure for redundant transmission.
Abstract:
Method and apparatus for interference mitigation in wireless communication system is provided. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a method performed by access and mobility management function (AMF) entity in a wireless communication system comprises receiving, from a gNB in a first group of gNBs, a first message comprising an identifier (ID) of a second group of gNBs and reference signal (RS) appearance information for an RS comprising the ID of the second group of gNBs, the RS being transmitted from at least one gNB in the second group of gNBs in response to detecting an interference; transmitting, to other gNBs in the first group, a second message comprising the ID for the other gNBs to interrupt a transmission of the RS appearance information for the RS comprising the ID of the second group of gNBs; and transmitting, to the second group of gNBs, a third message comprising the RS appearance information.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for preventing loss of uplink data in wireless communication system is provided. A central unit (CU) of an integrated access and backhaul (IAB)-donor receives, from a wireless device, uplink data through a source IAB-node. The CU of the IAB-donor receives, from the source IAB-node, a message which informs that uplink packets among the uplink data are remained on the source IAB-node, wherein the message is related to handover procedures of the wireless device from the source IAB-node to a target IAB-node. The CU of the IAB-donor proceeds the handover procedures, after receiving the uplink packets.
Abstract:
A method for communicating with a network at a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system is disclosed. The method includes steps of suspending a connection with the network; selecting one of a first connection procedure or a second connection procedure based on a cause value of a connection provided from a higher layer; and performing the selected connection procedure, wherein the cause value of the connection is determined according to a type of data to be transmitted.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for allocating resources for vehicle-to-everything (V2X) message transmission in a wireless communication system is provided. For the first solution, a pre-configuration based scheme is defined and specific temporary mobile group identities (TMGIs) are defined for the V2X service. For the second solution, a multi-cell/multicast coordination entity (MCE) receives a request for radio resource, which is based on an amount of V2X messages transmitted from vehicle user equipments (UEs) or road side unit (RSU) UEs, from an eNodB (eNB) supporting V2X function or an eNB type RSU, and transmits multimedia broadcast multicast services (MBMS) scheduling information to the eNB supporting V2X function or an eNB type RSU as a response to the request for radio resource.
