    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deterioration of the freshness of an article to be stored in the case of leaking a combustible refrigerant in a refrigerator using the combustible refrigerant. SOLUTION: The refrigerator comprises a compressor 19, a condenser 20, a pressure reducing mechanism 21, and an evaporator 10 to be functionally connected, a refrigerating cycle for sealing a combustible refrigerant, a refrigerant leakage sensing means 16 and an alarming means 17 for alarming a fault by the signal from the means 16. In this case, when the means 16 detects leakage of the refrigerant, the compressor 19 is continuously operated, and hence a temperature rise in the refrigerator is suppressed as much as possible, and the deterioration of the freshness of the stored material is reduced.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To defrost an evaporator quickly without leaving frost by stopping a fan for an arbitrary time before starting defrost operation of the evaporator through a defrost means. SOLUTION: During cooling operation, a microcomputer counts the integrated operating time of a compressor 20 using a function thereof, i.e., a timer, and makes a decision whether the integrated operating time of the counter has reached 8 hours. Upon elapsing 8 hours after previous defrost operation, the microcomputer makes a decision whether the inner temperature is lower than a set level. At a moment when the inner temperature drops below the set level, the fan 11 is stopped for an arbitrary time before starting defrost operation of the evaporator 10 thus enhancing defrost efficiency while eliminating frost.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent wear-out of a contact part between a vane tip end part and a roller and improve reliability by providing a roller fitted to the outer circumference of an eccentric part and a gear-form part geared with a contact part with a vane contacting the tip end thereof with the outer circumference face of the roller and partitioning a compression chamber into a high-pressure and low-pressure chambers. SOLUTION: A refrigerant gas flowing from a cooling system is sucked into a low-pressure chamber 5b of a compression chamber 5 from an suction path 18, is compressed by eccentric swinging of a roller 30, and delivered from a delivery part 19. Part of the outer circumference of the roller 30 fitted to a crankshaft eccentricity part 4 forms a tooth form part while the tip end part of a vane 32 accommodated reciprocating-slidably in a vane groove 6 forms a tooth-form part. The ear end part of the vane 32 is pushed by means of a spring in an assembling state, and the tooth-form part at tip end thereof and the tooth-form part of the roller 30 are contacted in geared state. Thereby, sliding movement by which a contact point changes is eliminated, and rolling movement by which each contact point changes anywhere is obtained.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To let cooling air flow into a condenser efficiently to promote cooling, by providing a fan which forcibly cools the condenser which is placed inside a duct, and by making the gap between the duct and the condenser narrower than the fin pitch of the condenser. SOLUTION: A machinery room 12 is partitioned by a partitioning wall 3 and a rear face cover and provided at the lower part of a refrigerator 1. In the machinery room 12, a compressor 5, an evaporating dish 14, and a cooling fan 6 are installed. When the cooling fan 6 is operated, outside air from a suction opening 17 cools down a condenser 16 of a suction duct 15, flows into the machinery room 12 from an ejection hole 24, cools down the compressor 5 via the evaporating dish 14 and the cooling fan 6, and is discharged outside the refrigerator from a discharge opening 13. Since the gap between the suction duct 15 and the condenser 16 is made narrower than the fin pitch of the condenser 16, the flow of the outside air of the suction duct 15 flows into the condenser 16 without diverting to the gap. As a result, most of the outside air which has flown in from the suction opening 17 can flow into the condenser 16, and efficient cooling of the condenser is permitted.

The temperature of a refrigerating compartment 10 is lower than the outer air temperature so that the outer air flows in when the drawer type door 11 is opened and cold air flows out when the door 11 is closed compressing the refrigerating compartment 10. The pulsation of the air-flow between the outer air and the refrigerating compartment 10 caused by the opening and closing of the door 11 is conducted to the inlet hole 7 of the duct 2 and the condenser 13 and removes the dust adhered to them.
