Abstract: PURPOSE:To surely produce transparent ice by a method wherein forced pre- cooling is immediately halted when ice making is started during forced pre- cooling operation, and water is rapidly cooled continuously only by a cooling plate during cooling period in which water reaches 0 deg.C. CONSTITUTION:When an ice making switch 20 is turned on by a user during defrosting operation, 'H' signal is input to a timer 43, and 'H' signal is output from 'd' output for a time period t'1, causing a transistor 30 to be turned ON and a relay contact 23 to be closed, so that a compressor 21 and a fan 6 are brought into continuous operation. During this period, the water in an ice making tray 15 is rapidly cooled without heating by a heating plate 12, and reaches 0 deg.C in a short time period. Next, when time period t'1 has elapsed, 'H' output is output from 'e' output of a timer 37 for a time period t'0 during which a transistor 36 is turned ON and a relay contact 24 is closed, so that a heater 11 is turned ON. Thereby, the heating plate 12 above the surface of water in the ice making tray 15 is heated so as not to freeze the surface first but to gradually cool and freeze the water from a cooling plate 13 on the bottom towards the surface. Then, transparent ice is made after a time period t'2 since output is changed to 'e' output.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the elongation of an ice making time due to the opening and/or closing of a door and obtain transparent ice blocks stably, by a method wherein heating is stopped for a given period of time during opening or after closing the door while the time of stopping the heating after closing the door is changed especially in accordance with the time of opening the door, when the opening and closing of the door for a cooling chamber are effected during ice making. CONSTITUTION:The conduction of a heater 11 is stopped during a time (TX+T1) or a time (TX+T2), in which the time Tx during opening of a door is added with given times T1, T2 after closing the door 18 being opened. External high-temperature air invades into a refrigerating chamber by the opening and/or closing of the door and the temperature of a cooling plate or a heating plate 10 show increasing tendency, however, the conduction of the heater is stopped simultaneously, therefore, the temperature of the heating plate is reduced rapidly and the temperature of the cooling plate is also reduced by the affection of the temperature reduction of the heating plate. Then, the temperature condition in the refrigerating chamber is corrected substantially to a condition proximated to a case wherein the opening and/or closing of the door are not effected. Accordingly, the connecting speed of ice blocks will never be deteriorated so much and an ice making time (t2) will never be elongated so much compared with the ice making time when the door is not opened or closed.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a stabilized inside temperature at all times by a method wherein the time of opened condition of a damper for a refrigerating chamber is counted to change a temperature whereat the high-speed rotation of a fan is started. CONSTITUTION:The opening and/or closing of a damper 8 are controlled in accordance with the detecting temperature of a refrigerating chamber temperature detecting means 10 detecting a temperature in a refrigerating chamber 3 and a time during the opened condition of the damper 8 is counted by a timer 26 to change the rotating number of a fan 6 by a rotating number control means 22. When a temperature in a freezing chamber 2 is increased and becomes higher than a set value, the fan 6 is operated with an usual rotation and a compressor 4 is also operated. In this case, a period of time of the timer 26 which counts the opening time of the damper 8 is longer than a predetermined period of time, a temperature whereat the high-speed rotation of the fan 6 is started is lowered slightly to bring the fan into the high-speed operation thereof quickly. Thus, the temperature of a freezing chamber 2 upon a high load can be moved to a range of a set temperature quickly in a short period of time even when a cooler 5 is clogged.
